This is my first ginseng product and while I really enjoy it and would possibly buy it again, I'm not sure it makes that big a difference on my skin. I have been using it twice a day for a month, and once a day in the last two weeks. Great for dry skin. Unsure if it's too much for oily portions. It's been a few weeks and I'm still trying to determine if it's too much for oily skin. I also have sensitive skin and no breakouts either. The red ginseng smell is not very strong, but it's there and really pleasant. The scent dissipates quickly. The essence, once dried, is a little tacky, but not sticky. It's probably best described as dewy feeling. Overall, it's a great essence and I'd get it again!
I have combination, rosacea prone skin so I always look for products that don't contain essential oils or fragrance. This essence ticks those boxes, so I thought I'd try it. The consistency is very watery, but it has enough slip to be able to apply it evenly. It is wonderfully hydrating and it can be layered without being sticky. I find it preps my skin well for the application of serums or my prescription azelaic acid. I also like it underneath sunscreen as it keeps my skin from feeling tight. I wouldn't say it does anything for skin tone, but that's not what I bought it for!

I love Beauty of Joseon so much and have never had issues with other products of theirs. I will update next week and I have my fingers crossed it was just that other product. I hate leaving bad reviews but I still love Beauty of Joseon and Soko Glam!
