Beauty of Joseon Ginseng + Snail Mucin Revive Serum 30ml

This serum is amazing! It’s my first real foray into snail products and it quickly made me a believer of the healing and soothing powers of snail mucin. I believe that this product is responsible for greatly alleviating the side effects I was experiencing after the strength of my tretinoin prescription was doubled. I think the peeling and burning would’ve been so much worse if it weren’t for this product, which pretty much put a halt to these issues after one day. The other star ingredients in the formula (ginseng and niacinamide) are also fantastic for anti-aging, brightening, and moisture barrier health. To top it all off, Beauty of Joseon is an affordable brand in general and this product is no exception. I’m sure I will repurchase it when I’m done with my current bottle.

Amazing

I must say I purchased this serum on a whim and oh my my! I am so happy that I did, because I feel like I have noticed even more skin improvement with Revive Serum than I did with Glow Serum. Both are lovely, however! Since I have been exclusively using Revive Serum as part of my PM routine, I have noticed positive changes almost immediately as I would look at myself in the morning. All of the breakouts I have dealt with left little to no scarring (which is shocking considering my scarring normally heals for months) and my complexion was clear and smooth. No clogged pores, no dry patches.Revive Serum has that same light, gel-like consistency and refreshing feel. I use a full pipette (face and neck) and follow up with a nighttime moisturizer.

Gentle and moisturizing

This serum feels great on the skin and you get a good amount of product. Because it has snail mucin, it's very spreadable. The formula feels gentle and moisturizing, with no overt stickiness.I bought for an anti-aging and moisturizing effect. I can't say I notice a particular glow... or any specific change to my skin, though. It's a fine product and feels more preventative than anything else. I don't have any reason to dock it any stars.

Good for textured skin

I love the product. I have dry to combination skin. They says it gives the skin glow but tbh I didn't see any glow. It doesn't even give moisturizing feeling. But the thing that made me buy it again is that it gets ridden of skin texture, it makes your skin feels super smooth and soft. also, the bottle is kind of small. But it lasted with me about two months. I only use it in the morning.

Holy grail!!

Listen, the only negative comment I have to say about this is that I wish it came in a jumbo size. I use this serum every day, twice a day. I’m on my 4th bottle currently since I discovered it last fall. My skin feels so soft and smooth because of it. Whenever I’ve stopped using this for a couple weeks my skin starts looking dull just after a few days. I will never stop repurchasing this serum because it’s perfect for my skin.

Holygrail

Been into skincare for as long as I can remember and I had tried too many serums in my life enough to say this is defo one of the top ones. Non drying, non sticky, lightweight feel afterwards. This, along with the Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Essence Water and Cosrx Blemish Cream cleared my maskne that has been bothering my face for nearly 3 years now! Also has good anti aging benefits that suits any age group. Go ahead and check this out of your carts!

Hydrating Serum

This and the ginseng essence from the same brand were my first ginseng skincare products. I think I found a new skincare ingredient. This serum has such a lovely consistency that is not too thick or watery and it absorbs into the skin well without leaving an annoying sticky feeling. My skin felt soft and hydrated after only a couple of days using it twice daily. No irritation and no unpleasant scent. Will buy again.

Lightweight and hydrating for combination skin!

The ginseng serum is lightweight and quickly absorbing. The snail mucin is slightly detectable and makes the serum spread easily. I didn't think this was hydrating enough for my dry skin but my face felt plump with continued use. I still prefer the glow serum both in texture and finish. The ginseng serum is similar to the essence in the large bottle, only with a slightly thicker formula. Next time I'll buy the essence since I get the same results with larger quantity. This serum is best for those with combination skin but might not be enough hydration/moisture for those with dry skin. It's worth purchasing on sale.

My New Hydrating, Rejuvenating Staple

While I have only used this serum a handful of times (I just got it)-- I can say that I am quite happy with its performance. I deal with occasion breakouts but primarily combination, sensitive skin. I have been dealing with dryer skin given the cold, harsh Minnesota winters & this serum has come in handy for those days where I need a little extra nourishment. The product itself glides on to skin very seamlessly & with an iconic 'serum' texture. My dry skin was immediately hydrated and redness appeared calmer upon application, and has helped lighten my past blemishes. I love that it is fragrance and cruelty free & at such a great price point. Definitely recommend!

Texture for me was perfect , it's not really thick nor too light so skin really absurved it well as it's not too heavyThe serum does instantly calm your skin if you have some rosacea flare up after a longsunny day or your goal is skin calming & protection of skin barrier in generalI believe consistent use would bring great results whether alone or paired with other calming products for double effectSince i mostly used the beauty of joseonserum paired with other products , i can't say for sure it was soley the result of it , but it does take the credit for being such a lightweight serum that targets a lot of skin concerns and being safe for moslty all skin types
