I don't have a pup - I use these excellent Beco Poop Bags for my CAT!!They are the best things out & I've used them ever since he was a kitten. My cat uses a litter tray (like clockwork - I can time every visit and the outcome).I use the Beco Poop Bags to wrap up the contents of the tray safely and securely. This is why, for me, the handles are important as they enable me to make a good 'parcel' out of the contents. Now that they are bigger than they used to be, this makes my job as 'Cat Mum' much easier. Please KEEP producing them! They are the best things since sliced bread! :)Thank you, Beco!

These are the best bags I have found after lots of trial and error (messy ones). They are easy to use, and strong enough to keep my hands clean (a big must!). I prefer buying this bigger pack to ensure I always have bags at the ready. I have converted my dog friends to purchase these also.

This is the best bag for picking up after your dog, as the bags are strong. I usually prefer the ones with tie handles- but without they are good too. They are on the pricey side though.

Beware these aren't as green as you think
4 March 2021

These bags are 'degradable' which is different to 'compostable'. Degradable is used a lot at the moment and does mean bags break down more quickly. However they are still MADE OF PLASTIC so poison the ground.Beco also make 'compostable' bags but these don't appear to be on the Waitrose site. These are made of CORNSTARCH so will genuinely break down to nothing in the way leaves and vegetables do.Look for COMPOSTABLE instead of 'degradable' if you genuinely want something green.

Compost ability is important
24 October 2023

It is good to know that you are not creating plastic waste when trying to be environmentally responsible, picking up after your pet. Very good bag, easy to peel open (which is not the case for all bags), but slightly on the thin side. Adios compost able bags are better.

Love the Handles
1 March 2024

Great size, love the handles. Just makes carrying them easier. Large enough size for picking up after 2 dogs if needed. Much easier to tie when done to throw out. Just wish they came in a large amount, though these lasted me 2 months with one dog. The only negative is they are hard to open for some reason. I open up so many the night before because you don't want to fiddle with them when needing to quickly pickup after your pup. Especially in the winter months. Hopefully they will offer bulk bags in the future, example 200 plus.

Love them
31 March 2023

They are great. Only downside was that they were a little wider than the previous bags we used and had to buy a new holder. I assume the one on earthhero site would be fine but we tried not to buy another since we had a perfectly good one. Anyway new one works great and we are happy with the bags!

Warning- the 300 pack is not individual rolls
28 February 2024

Just a warning for anyone ordering the 300 pack; instead of the normal small 30 bag rolls, this comes as one large roll. This is mentioned in the description, but is easily missed. While the bags themselves are fantastic, I prefer the individual rolls for convenience

Wasteful
25 October 2024

This bag are truely easily breakdown in the environment. Every time it ripped apart in my hands resulting in my fingers directly touching the poo! I would be better of using paper bag. I reckon paper paper bags won't rip easy like this bag. Use one throw out two. Never again for me.

unreliable separation.
7 November 2022

Good big bag but first roll perforations not working. Had to cadge a bag from other dog walker. 2nd roll difficult to separate. Now nervous to use! Check first or carry scissors....

These extra-large and thick certified home compostable poop bags are great for protecting your hands and accommodating various poop sizes. The roll of bags comes in a recycled cardboard core, which fits most standard dispensers. Meeting both ASTM D6400 and EN13432 standards for compostability, the best way to dispose of these bags is in a secure home compost for non-edible plants. However, keep in mind that pet waste is not accepted in most food waste composting streams. The bags are made of 30% cornstarch and 70% PBAT for an ecommerce website.
