The mic feels nice and solid in hand. The sound/tone is more deeper than shure mic. Still an awesome mic for the price.

I took a chance on this mic. I didnt want to spend a lot of money for a spare mic. This mic has the feel, weight, and quality of more expensive mics I have. It has good sound. While Ill continue to use my more expensive mics because of their more nuanced sound, this mic will do the job and get you through the gig.

I took a chance on this mic. I didnt want to spend a lot of money for a spare mic. This mic has the feel, weight, and quality of more expensive mics I have. It has good sound. While Ill continue to use my more expensive mics because of their more nuanced sound, this mic will do the job and get you through the gig.
I'm using this on a desk mount for use with an amateur radio transceiver. I've added a 0.1 uF capacitor in the cable in series with the microphone to give some pre-emphasis to the sound. I'm using a separate foot switch to key the transmitter. On air reports have been excellent and I recommend this microphone for this use. For the price it's a high quality microphone far better than some of the over-priced microphones sold on the amateur radio market.
does the job for a budget microphone, I used it to mic up a guitar amp and it worked very well
I used this mic recently up against a old 87, some 58's and a Beta 58 in a live performance setting. Big system, In ears, Line array, 3000 watt thing with subs, Gates Compressors Reverbs Delays etc, anyhow. At soundcheck I asked the Sound Guy to take a little time with PFL, trim and EQ as these mics are a little hotter at input with a 1k spike. No problem, just mix it right,,,right!. With this Mic, I was surprised how accurately I could sing in a 4 person harmony take, (1 main vox 3 part harmony as a pad). (Oohs Arr's La La's etc). It was an arranged vocal part. The Mic was easy to use and sounded great in that setting. I pulled one in ear out to hear the FOH as much as i could, Yep,,,it all was "in there",,,,,sweet! Ears back in, on with the show. I have used a shure beta 58, a rode M1, this is very close in the sound quality and I am getting another 1 so I will have 2 backups currently using the rode M1 , sadly I lost my Beta 58. Haven't used the Behringer in a live situation yet but will soon.
