Disappointed. I was expecting a similar pedal performance to that provided by my Behringer UM300 Ultra Metal Distortion pedal but it is hard to get distinctive effects from the FX600. To this end I have resurrected two old Boss pedals the TW1 Touchwah and the BF 3 Flanger. I had to work on both to get them up to scratch and virtually rebuilt the TW1 but the result is two distinctive effects with much more presence and variation. I will set up the FX600 just for delay.

This is a very good unit for it's price.I purchased it for my "little" amp when I go to friends place's to jam.My "big" amp has the same effects in it & are better. However, it does do the job I purchased it for.It is well made in China under German supervision. The Germans don't do rubbish products & that's what made me check it out.I'm not complaining about it at all, this is one of those "horses for courses" items.I have another pedal that does what this one does & more but it cost three times what this did.I'd recommend this to anyone that wants those effects but doesn't want to pay close to $200.My last remark is "you can't beat it for the price"

I need(ed) a tremolo and a chorus for only two specific songs during a number of gigs in a theatreshow and I didn't want to bring one of my large pedalboards and bigger amps etc. Traveling light is/was the motto, with just a small 15 W. tubeamp, one guitar and therefore I bought this pedal. Well, it does the job and that's it. The tremolo is actually fine, easy to tweak, but finding the sweet spot on the chorus took a little longer and it's ok now, but like the phaser and flanger, it's only "fair". So is the delay, though it always gives two delays in the "A-output" when using it mono and you better use output "B" then. Still very strange....The pitchshifter is rather unusable (very "wobbly") in my opinion, but I will never use it anyway.Still, for little money I ... MoreI need(ed) a tremolo and a chorus for only two specific songs during a number of gigs in a theatreshow and I didn't want to bring one of my large pedalboards and bigger amps etc. Traveling light is/was the motto, with just a small 15 W. tubeamp, one guitar and therefore I bought this pedal. So, good value for the money and when this tour is done I'll put it back in it's box and store it until I might need it again. But it's not a pedal I would use on one of my "serious" boards, even thouugh I do use some affordable, yet great sounding pedals there as well!

You get what you pay for. This pedal is fun to experiment with. Some effects are really good, others are not. The Flanger needs a high-cut filter. The Phaser is kinda weak and it sucks your tone. The chorus is really good. The delay would be really good, but it won't go slow enough for me. So I don't see myself using it. I don't like the Tremolo effect, but it seems to work fine in this pedal. The Pitch Shifter was my favorite effect in this pedal. It is sensitive to adjustments, but once I had it carefully dialed-in, it sounded great. The Level knob works great. It seems to blend the original signal with the selected effect nicely, without dropping the volume or sucking your tone. I use this pedal in the effects-loop of my amp head. It seems to blend the original signal with the selected effect nicely, without dropping the volume or sucking your tone. I use this pedal in the effects-loop of my amp head. The two parameter knobs seem to have a pretty big range. They go from subtle, to really wild. It takes some time to carefully adjust them to get the sound you are looking for. The knobs feel stiff when you turn them, which is nice. They will stay where you set them. Construction is plastic, so this pedal is not too durable, but it will be fine for home use. Overall, this pedal is great for the price. It has plenty of use-able sounds in it, but some of the effects are not perfect. This pedal would be great for new players, because it allows them to experiment with different effects to see what they like, and it doesn't cost much. I use a 1-spot power adapter with it, which works great.
This is a second time purchase, I had to sell the first one years ago, so I knew what I was getting. It's a good FX pedal, but not great. Good value pedal certainly, many fx in one unit. You can dial in some great sounds. I don't do any gigs, so it suits me. So why only 4 stars ? The battery life isn't good, you'd need to have this unit plugged in to a DC power supply (FX pedal board) to be sure of no let down. The various modulations selector isn't a click stop, such is the nature of these pedals. It's robust enough for private use, but the housing is plastic (very strong) not sure it would cope without being on a pedal board. The battery (standard 9v) isn't easy to install (if in a hurry) pressing the pedal side lugs without scratching the case is the thing, not an issue if you aren't in a rush, but use a ball point pen to do this. The weight of the pedal is very good, it stays put and feels nice. It selects well with no clunk, the led is sufficient for on/off (in or bypass) and battery level (that is a challenge lol) It's stereo, this really would sound good in use. Input one is also power on/off (not sure you'd want to keep unplugging, I forget to, battery wasted lol) The pedal isn't too bad at all noise wise, although I'm not sure how good it would perform at high volume levels. All in all not too bad, especially price wise (I had worse) and the FX obtainable are good. In a studio and recording then this unit hits the mark, live gigs...not sure. If you want value then you will get that for sure, just don't forget to buy the plug in power unit, save buying batteries.
Got this for a versatile, battery operated processor for a live gig that had to be all self-powered (no AC available). The unit worked and sounded great, but started giving me the blinking "change battery soon" indicator after a few songs. Not sure if that was due to the battery type (tried both alkaline and lithium-ion types), so some more info or recommendations would be welcome. Delay time isn't as long as I'd like, but it works for most purposes. Hard to dial in a specific time or tempo, but if you want that, opt for a higher end unit with a display like the Zoom multi FX pedal. For the price, this one is hard to beat.
You absolutely can't beat the value here for a stereo multi pedal for guitar. The Behringer FX600 does wonderful things for $35-$50. It has a very useable delay that swaps left and right signals for a pong or two before settling to both channels. The tremolo does not pan but does have a good "shape?" control (par2) that lets you dial in a good range of tremolos. The chorus is growing on me, though I'm not a fan of chorus typically. If you use an ABY with a phase switch you owe it to yourself to waste the money on this. The phaser seems to run a completely dry signal on channel B. The delay will make one amp "follow" the other at an interval set by the time setting. The flanger seems to alternate panning high and low between left and right, and will pan between amps ... MoreYou absolutely can't beat the value here for a stereo multi pedal for guitar. The flanger seems to alternate panning high and low between left and right, and will pan between amps with one amp selected. The signals cross over from A to B and back in a lot of settings but are separate and truly stereo. It has some very fun and unique functions if you get creative. No you can't program it, but it's so cheap! There are no volume drops or pops when you turn it on. The level coming in is the level coming out. I run 8 pedals on my board and no noise gate. This pedal adds zero noise. I use an isolated ABY and fully isolated power supply. Sound quality is fantastic honestly. The only down side I see isno expression pedal out, but seriously for $35 how can I even say that? It's amazing that Behringer doesn't charge $150 for it. Buy one before they do, if only to use in the bedroom with a couple 9v amps, worth it. Enjoy
I actually bought this as a twin set (with a DD600) to use as twin delays for a Brian May type setup. The first thing I noticed with the pedal is they look pretty good in the photo's but you realise they're plastic. I only bought this for the delay, however didn't want to buy the same pedal (DD600), so got a multi-modulation pedal instead (as I thought the other features may come in handy). One thing you have to be careful with these Behringer pedals is the function selection, as it can easily be knocked. The knob needs to be set in the middle. Anywhere towards the outer edges between functions and the pedal with cut in and out (I thought there was something wrong with the pedal). Other than that all of the functions work pretty well except the phaser which I didn't ... MoreI actually bought this as a twin set (with a DD600) to use as twin delays for a Brian May type setup. The other strange thing is if you're in delay mode and you move the PAR1 control, the delay is scratchy - this doesn't happen on any other setting. So you wouldn't want to use it in a live situation in case it gets knocked. However for home use and mucking around with modulation features it's pretty good for the money.I wouldn't hesitate buying anything from the guys at DJ City - the service is excellent and good prices. I even bought more stuff!
Delivers six different ways to color tone in a single box, for a rock-bottom price. You can use one at at time, which is really no drawback-- just buy another one of these if you want to chain them.Experienced pedal users may have effects that are superior. A lot of fun, finding sounds that I've heard on songs and always wondered how people made them.I don't find it to be very noisy at the volumes employed in my apartment (duh), and a noise gate in my chain makes it virtually silent. The build quality is not an issue for me, at least so far. I want to point out that we have spatial audio excitement because we have 2 ears and that is why we we call it dimensional spatial audio. This is the element of being in the mix in a stereo setting. If you record or use stereo live mixing, then it is everything to take advantage of this option of stereo. If you have a need for a stereo mix then this pedal is awesome. It is however the most affordable stereo multi fx in and out pedal that I am aware of. I have several Stomp multi fx boards and none have a stereo input. Even the top quality pedal stomps I have, feature very few options that are stereo when using mods, delay, chorus, phasing, tremelo and reverb. The difference in the same effect in mono vs stereo is critical to say the least. Using headphones changes the whole flavor of an effect. This pedal has great stereo modulation and wonderful delay taps. The example I can give is that we use live stereo in our PA mix. When standing out front the stereo signal helps bring presence and clarity to the listener. Especially in vocals and guitar. On the floor I use two of these pedals after my stomp multi fx floorboards to bring stereo excitement. I have a stereo delay in my floorboards but it is not as good as the behringer, nor are the mod fx. Using it to add a split signal to act as a doubler on big fat crunchy rock songs or using a fat chorus to make the guitar sound like a clean FD Rhodes keyboard piano. look how many fx are here in this one pedal. Really frees up space while covering all the bases. Stereo in Stereo Out splitting my floorboard into my amp and direct box to the PA. The sound is fat and lively. These fx are far above average at 24 bit processing. Once you go stereo you never go back to mono.
