I use it in my studio, which runs constantly recording people.Once in a while X32-Edit (mixer control software) sees these input channels as line inputs rather than mic inputs and will not display things like their full gain range or the phantom power button. Somewhere between restarting the unit and restarting X32-Edit the issue resolves.I noticed that the inputs on this unit are a few samples out of sync with my X32R, but the difference is negligible.I enjoy the Hi-z inputs on channels 15 & 16, but after a number of months of plugging my bass in directly to channel 16 with a guitar cable, the jack needed to be re-soldered. I have used the previous model a couple of times. The SD16 is a new digital stage box introduced this year. The reason I chose it over its predecessor is the inclusion of their Ultranet DA on the box. This allows for 4 of the personal mixers to plug directly into the SD16, rather than having to use Behringers Ultranet DA, which means having another powered device cluttering up the stage. Also this stage box automatically recognizes whether the X32 is set for 44kHz or 48kHz. The original stage box required a manual setting. This doesn't have invidual controls for each input and output, but I never used those anyhow. I think they are a bit irrelevant, as all those settings can be achieved on the X32.
Ideal companion to the Behringer Wing. DV247 have great prices and excellent customer service. Both are highly recommended.
If you have an X32, this is a must have accessory. Pitch the heavy analog snakes and pickup this 8 LB digital snake that uses 1 piece of sheilded cat 5 (AES50 Commuication). 16 inputs, 8 outputs, and 4 powered Ultranet ports for the P16-M headphone monitors.

So much easier than running 24 cables from back to front of church. 1 wire handles everything. When combining with the X32 Compact there was an immediate difference in the sound quality compared to our old analog Yamaha mixer. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the market.
Worked straight away really easily. Great to have the flexibility of the combi inputs that the S16 doesn't have.
This is the most affordable Stagebox. With this stagebox you forget about the heavy and thick multicore. A pair of such products will help stretch switching on the stage, and not pull a bunch of cables from one point. Very comfortably! Preamps on their sound worthy of the price. I also connect it through my Turbosound IQ15.
