The USB connection on this unit allows me to connect all my music sources. I am able to connect my laptop, (Virtual DJ Software), without a controller! This is perfect for me because I am old school and still use CD's & vinyl (dual turntables) when I DJ.

Was a little sceptical what the quality would be like before I purchased this.I am very pleased with this purchase, good build quality at an excellent price, loads of inputs/channels. Plenty of outputs including sub / master / zone / USB. Has BPM counter but I never use this feature (my ears are more accurate). Overall, just as good as the old denon mixer I replaced.

This is a great solid mixer with plenty of inputs and options. The USB function is useful for simple playback and recording too. Professional feel for a budget price. Just as good as some other much more expensive mixers I have used. I have used a VMX1000 mixer previously for many years without a single problem so I'm confident this will last me just as long if not longer.

The DJ parts of this unit are really good and the numerous options for inputs are great. The five channels have two sets of inputs with easy switches making this a ten input mixer. I have added a cassette deck and a radio and I still have a channel free for portable devices. The only problem, which is a major one for me, is that the mic outputs are useless. I wanted this to make music podcasts and whilst the mic outputs work in the room they do not connect with the USB out into the computer rendering the whole setup completely useless. The only way round this is to send the whole thing out into the mixer that this was supposed to replace, meaning an extra power socket and more, more, more cables. This mixer is hot for the price. If you're doing recording only; from your instruments or converting LP, this is for you. If you're an entry level DJ this is worth it. If you're into digital mixing with two computers then you'll need to look elsewhere since this mixer only has one USB port. The sound from the mixer when in USB is great, I had no problem with it. It made the music bright uncolored, the other inputs are just as good, the only thing in order to get the output from the master you have to purchase XLR to RCA cables,.this configuration will eliminate any hum you may get from the computer input.This mixer has many features for the price.The faders were a bit too easy to move for my taste but they were accurate.Excellent value for the price.
Mixer had a VERY loud hum in the audio signal, much like a ground fault. I tried different outlets, different cables, different speakers and even took it to a friends house. Could not get rid of the "noise" when the volume was low. Re-read other ratings and found this to be common. Returned the mixer.

I currently have 3 of these mixers in use in my mobile DJ company. It is great to be able is connect everything into an SKB rack... including mics, power conditioner, CD player, laptops, DJ controller, iPod, phone, you name it!! USB has worked flawless with DJ software, including MIXXX. There isn't many choices anymore for 19" rack mixers, and I am here to say, you won't be disappointed! I started with just 1 of them, and soon sold my other mixers and replaced them with this model. Buy with confidence, you will love what this mixer has to offer.
have used Behringer mixers before on the Mobile Disco and have found them great to work with, they have many features that are ideal to what we need, 7 channels is easy enough for any needs plus the USB, the sliders are easy and free, Mic channels are good, the look is superb and the mixer of an whole is ideal and easy to use, this was a used one with one slight fault but that was not an issue for me as it was easy to sort out. it arrived on time, was well packed and it works great. so very pleased with the purchase, it also came with a really good quality Flight case..
This is my second one. The first one blew out about a week or so ago and I couldn't get audio from my computers without using headphones. It came in 4 days from New Jersey to Florida. I was very impressed with the shipping speed. I'm still waiting for stuff I ordered long before it. It is the only one I have to stick with because it is hard to find mixers with so many channels, equalizers for each channel and dual XLR outputs. I can't use anything less because my setup has 3 computers, an AM/FM receiver and a CD/DVD player attached to it. And I have to have the dual XLR outputs because my amplifier has dual XLR inputs. I think I might be stuck buying this one over and over whenever I blow them out.
