Otherwise they will keep charging forever. This will destroy the battery prematurely. I always listen to music before I go to sleep, and the normal use case would be to just place the Airpods on the wireless charger before I go to sleep. This is not advisable. When I wake up in the morning the case of the Airpods is hot. Indicating it doesn't shut off charging.I tried to contact the chat support but it was useless. They were not sure what the problem is and recommend that if I am not happy with the way the device behaves, I should return it.

Bought the product (WIZ017) some months ago, having an Apple Watch 8 at that time. Used to work fine and charge the Watch as fast as expected. Now I bought an Apple Watch Ultra 2, and it doesn't charge it fast. I put it on the charger puck, and for the first 3 minutes the screen awakens when i hit the surface that thw charger lays on. But after the 3 minutes, screen does not awaken unless I tap on the screen itself, and charging is slow. Moreover, at home I use the similar Belkin 3-in-1 MagSafe charging pad (the flat one, WIZ016) and there my Watch charges fast without problems. I live in Greece and the local Belkin dealer dows not acknowledge the problem. I would not recommend this product and it is a reason to deter me from buying any Belking products in the future.

Design is compact and holds all devices well. I have iPhone 14 Pro, Watch Ultra 2 and AirPods Pro. Watch tends to swivel while on charger and needs to be stabilized due to it being large. It sticks but could spin every now and then. AirPods charging is spotty. Sometimes I have to change placement a couple times on the pad for it to start charging and will stop charging on occasion. There have been some occasions where I've left the Airpods for a couple of hours and they won't charge. I have two sets of Airpods and it has happened with both so I know Its not an Airpods issue. When charging multiple devices it can be a bit slow. This is good for a work from home setup or if you spend a lot of time on your desk.

Everything worked great expect for one flaw with AirPods wireless charging - there is no mechanism to signal to the charging pad to stop sending a charge when the AirPods are fully charged.This means the charger will heat up AirPods indefinitely. I checked the temperature with a laser heat probe and the case was at 97F after 8 hours on the charger. The ambient air temperature in the room was 68F - ideal conditions.I chatted with Belkin Support and they confirmed this was the normal behavior and recommended I just remove the case from the mat when charging was complete. This doesn't work for me since I leave them to charge overnight and frequently leave them plugged in for a day or two at a time. Having to ... Overall the stand is incredibly sturdy with a heavy solid base. The power cable is a bit short however. So I had the Gen 1 that was starting to flake out, so I decided that it was time to upgrade. Well I have an iPhone 15 Pro and Apple Watch Ultra 2 primarily used with a Trail Band. When placing the watch on the charger it would immediately twist 45 degrees. I assumed I had a lemon so took it back to Best Buy for an exchange, unfortunately the same issue.I decided to call Belkin and they said yes, we recommend not using the lighter Apple Bands because the watch will twist. I said it sounds like you have a design flaw because Gen 1 of this didn't do that. Well back to the drawing board Belkin and you should be recalling all of these Gen 2 stands. You admit you have a problem then tell me to use a heavier band? NOT!!!

While the phone and AirPod charge locations have some kind of “covering” — either rubber or rubberization, the watch charger is bare. When you put the watch on to charge it flops about and can fall off pretty easily. Before purchasing, my main concern was the weight of the base, ensuring it was heavy enough to detach the phone from the magnet without displacing the entire setup. It does meet this criterion; you can easily detach the phone with one hand, and although the base shifts a bit, it's manageable. Including an extra magnet for non-MagSafe cases would have been a nice touch. I'm giving it 4 stars primarily because the magnet for the watch isn't strong enough, causing the watch to "spin" sideways. Initially, I thought it was due to the weight of my Watch Ultra 2, but the same issue occurs with my Series 8 and my husband's SE 2nd Gen. In general, it performs as anticipated and helped in organizing my nightstand. I might consider getting another for my office space.

It did'nt have enough power and the charger was usb a - usb c, i even tried an apple charger but it wouldn't charge.Now the Belkin. It works great when it works. But i have to unplug it and re plug it in to get it to connect with my also new Apple Iphone 15 pro max, either in it's magsafe case or just the phone with out the case.
