I have owned around 15 different window mounts that always fail and break within a short amount of time.This mount made by Belkin is absolutely the best one I have purchased yet! I am on my third one of these now, the first one I owned it lasted 3 years and it was the best phone holder I have ever owned. The last two have really let me down, they have broken easily after just a few months of use, my latest one kept popping off the window every 10-30 minutes and causing my phone to go down near my pedals.It seems the suction mechanism has some freeplay in it now and is no where near as good as it used to be, perhaps it is a bad batch but looking at some of these other reviews it just isn't worth the money.I'm never buying one of these again, look else where like I am now.If they changed the window clamp design to a leaver you have to push into position that would work much better than this twist design.

Good Points: Good mounting on glass and can be mounted on a dashboard with the provided plastic base that sticks to dash.Sturdy; doesn’t vibrate or rattles when going over bumps.Good quality.The length of the neck is good enough.The tension on the holding mechanism is strong so it would hold your phone properly.Improvement Points: Could have Extendable neck length.Could have a twisting neck.
I purchased 3 of these from different retailers and they all have the same fault. They vibrate, creating too much movement with the device. The problem stems from where the arm fits into the sucker cup. It's loose to allow rotation, this allows the phone to bounce around with the cradle arm, which subsequently means the display is either unreadable or you end up pressing the wrong button. I also had one of the 3 fail after a hot day (32c high). It's a 2 handed operation trying to get the phone into the cradle as you have to manually prize the spring loaded retaining arms open to seat the phone. If I could give no stars I would. These are comple rubbish for larger, heavier devices.
My first one of these lasted me a good few years. However, every replacement I've had since breaks within 2 months, and always in the same place (base near the suction). I tried to give it the benefit of doubt, but I'm on to my fourth one. Very frustrating to always be returning to the store. It's a very sleek and stylish design, but not much point if the quality breaks frequently. Sometimes my phone pops out too which is distressing and distracting. I always have to make sure my window isn't all the way down so my phone does fly out.

It's a nice design with quality parts.I attach it to my windscreen. It's perfect but.... The neck is a bit too long. This means, even with a small iPhone se, that the phone wobbles up and down when driving. The wobbling also means that it has a tendency fall off. I own a couple of cars and also hire cars often, so I switch it from car to car. The tendency to come unstuck and the wobbling mean I have to focus on attaching it, positioning it so that the phone can rest against something, and keeping the pad and window clean. Make one with a slightly shorter neck and slightly more powerful suction and I'll buy several and put five star reviews everywhere! :-)
Bought from JB a couple of weeks ago after years of propping my phone up in the cup holders while using the GPS.The holder certainly looks sturdy, and being more expensive than the other competition available in JB I thought it would be a safe purchase. Better to buy something that's durable one time than buying something cheap multiple times if they keep breaking. Having a sticky pad that can be used as a dash mounting point was a huge bonus as well. I haven't tried that yet, as I decided to pop it on the bottom corner of my windscreen where viewing would be easy while in the road.It locks onto the windscreen nice and easy and hasn't shown any signs of slipping or loosing its grip yet. However, not a deal-breaker as I don't intend to be removing and repositioning it very often, if at all.The ball joint seems to be stiff enough, although I could quite easily see it becoming loose over time and with constant adjustment. I'd probably end up gluing it solid if it came to that. The amount of adjustment is a bit limited, so you're constrained to mounting it on the windscreen or the top of the dash. Other more imaginative orientations may not have the range of motion to work.I haven't had the phone slipping issues of other buyers, and the sprung side grips hold onto my Google Pixel 4 (in it's silicone-esk soft case) easily. I like that it's easy to get it in and out and I don't have to constantly tighten/loosen any screws to do so.Now for the disappointing part. The holder looks sturdy, but it vibrates a lot with a phone mounted while on the road. Unless I'm driving on the smoothest pavement possible, with the phone mounted in the holder it vibrates constantly. The ball joint isn't the problem, and neither is the suction cup - it's where the stalk joins onto the locking mechanism where there is rubbery movement. Maybe it was intended to be "shock absorbing", but instead the phone hums away at various frequencies like a N64 rumble pack while driving. This isn't a big deal if you are using GPS, as you can still more or less see the details that you need, however if you buy this to mount a phone for recording driving Vlogs, then best of luck to your phone's stabilization.Don't know if that's a one-off for my type of phone (the Pixel 4 isn't that big) or how I mount it (gripped on the lower half away from the buttons), but I would be wary.So, to conclude: mixed feelings. It mostly does the job for me, but I expected better for the price premium over the competition. Fingers crossed for long-term durability.
