We wanted to use this in our kitchen counter top outlet. The two plugs come up fron the counter top.Unfortunately your plug has a rim around it prohibiting the plug to be fully inserted into the socket on either side and therefore I cannot charge an iPhone with this plug and cable.Instead I have to use a plug near the ground and leave the device on the floor where it is vulnerable to being stepped on accidentally.Bending down is difficult as well for me so I am unhappy with the product and it applicability.

I bought this charger 5 days ago and I think I had gotten a faulty chord. It doesn’t not want to charge my phone since the day I bought it (tore the box on accident trying to get it out so can’t return it). I thought it was my phone case but I changed phone cases 30 minutes after and it still won’t charge my phone unless it’s held a certain way. I wake up with my phone dead most days or sometimes multiple times a night. Very annoying and disappointing due to the fact that my last charger was this brand and I loved it. Please if you buy this, check and make sure it charges your stuff or you’ll be out the money just like me.

I ordered it with my groceries. I lost my new iPad charger and cord at hospital. I need a new one quick. So far this is great for my phone 11 and the iPad. Lost without them charged. It’s fairly priced I suppose. I didn’t want to spend a lot. It’s fast to charge. I only have the one cord that came with it I do want to get another cord. They like walk outta my house it seems.

Here we go, I love how fast it charges, it is truly faster than pawpaw after church during football season. I don’t love that it’s the bulkiest of plugs, it makes it hard to keep in a wall. (I guess bigger is better) This charger needs to be on a flat strip, most of the time. Also, another reason I gave it four stars is the prongs. They fold in and eventually break when my fidgety fingers forgets what I’m doing. An a hr later, I realize I have been flipping the prongs and contemplating my life choices. When I think about it doubles as a figet toy. Let’s be honest, it takes up a lot of space. It is 2024 can we get one a little smaller. Other than that, let’s finish this honesty bomb, this is one of the best options for charging. I had recently purchased a Bose SoundLink Flex and when you open that item up, you see you only get a USB-A to USB-C charging cable but no wall adapter/charging block to plug in to the wall and charge the speaker with. So, I headed back to Best Buy and purchased this Belkin Wall charger because it was a USB-A to USB-C charger. I only got the wall adapter, the cable did not come with the one I purchased. I used the cable that came with the Bose SoundLink Flex and I was able to successfully charge my new Bose SoundLink Flex Bluetooth speaker. I would have purchased the Belkin wall charger with the cable but they were all out of them in the store I was at at that time. It's good if you need a USB-A to USB-C wall charger.

My limited understanding is that Amps is the volume flowing into your device, Volts is the pressure, and Watts is the overall power (volts x amps). While I ended up more confused than when I started, I was able to determine that the belkin charger does not provide quite as much power as advertised.The box states that both of the charging ports are 12 Watts. More specifically, each of the USB ports is intended to provide 5 Volts & 2.5 Amps. When I tested the electrical current, I found that each port is just shy of 5 Volts, but only about 1.11 Amps (instead of the 2.5 advertised). I do wish that it came with a second charging cable, but if it keeps the price down - I suppose I can settle for just the one.

I was traveling & had left my chargers behind. I'm on a medical device that requires my phone as well as the device that disburses my medication to be charged nightly. The hotel only had 1 charging port close enough for my devices to interact with me while sleeping. I was able to purchase this & stayed safe all night & had everything fully charged for the next day. Anyway, this is very handy to have for a "second spot" to charge phones and tablets. The 12W per plug is enough to get a rapid charge on phones, a good charge on tablets, and will "make do" to keep a small laptop going if the battery is running low. Since it is only 12W per plug, laptops may be needing a little more juice, but mine will accept the connection and the input can keep up with the output and adds some more to put a "light charge" on the laptop.
