This backpack has everything thought through and figured out. I ordered the wrong color first but Moosejaw completed the exchange in under a week! Very smooth and once I got the right color I have been using it non-stop and have figured out all of the cool features.

I bought this for my wife and she’s very happy with the look and features. She’s 5’4” and the height of the pack appears to fit her torso well. A waist belt, even if optional, might be useful, but probably not necessary for this 28L size. Nicely done.

This backpack has everything thought through and figured out. I ordered the wrong color first but Moosejaw completed the exchange in under a week! Very smooth and once I got the right color I have been using it non-stop and have figured out all of the cool features.
I bought this for my wife and she’s very happy with the look and features. She’s 5’4” and the height of the pack appears to fit her torso well. A waist belt, even if optional, might be useful, but probably not necessary for this 28L size. Nicely done.
The Bellroy Transit Backpack is a winning combination of clean design choices, comfort, and capacity. The central pocket is large, tailored for travel but suitable for edc in many circumstances. The elasticated straps can hold up papers or books, and comboned with the cushioned laptop compartment, I have been using this as my edc for work since purchasing. The zips are strong and water sealed, and the straps include stays to stop them dangling unnecessarily. The small number of main pockets has not limited the organisational ability with some small pockets in each sections allowing me to separate different items. The bottle pockets, not the easiest find on a high quality laptop capable edc, are hidden in the sides. When filled, the do not bulge outward, making the ... I own several Bellroy things, and love their design and quality. Confusingly, though, depending on the color the fabric can be really different. I liked the LOOK of the Lunar type, but the fabric was not the best. I much prefer the black, smoother fabric.
Great overall bag - space for size 14 shoes in the clamshell no problem. The side water pockets are tight though - can't really get anything other than a normal size bottle in - no 24oz or 32oz would fit. Rather they be truly external for more space.

I have had many, many backpacks over the years and this pack is a great mix of many. Large enough for travel, just organized enough for office/tech use, and very durable. Nice materials in and out and good functionality. Only complaint is straps could be wider as they dig a bit with a heavy load.
