This backpack has everything thought through and figured out. I ordered the wrong color first but Moosejaw completed the exchange in under a week! Very smooth and once I got the right color I have been using it non-stop and have figured out all of the cool features.

I bought this for my wife and she’s very happy with the look and features. She’s 5’4” and the height of the pack appears to fit her torso well. A waist belt, even if optional, might be useful, but probably not necessary for this 28L size. Nicely done.

The bag looks great, and the materials used feel very premium (black, baida ripstop version).Unfortunately, I found some of the pockets to be disappointing. The side pockets are way too small. Getting even a small water bottle in and out of those pockets is a hassle. Similarly, the top quick access pocket is too small and flat. If you put anything larger than a small phone in there, it gets really cramped.
Pros: Beautiful design, high visibility interior, great organization with a top notch laptop section. I love the quick access pocket and full clamshell opening. Materials feel premium, and the bag offers pretty good weather resistance.Cons: Small, zippered water bottle pockets are versatile, but a tight fit for a 21 oz. Hydroflask. But it's biggest flaw is a fairly middling carry system. There's no sternum strap, no mesh or ridged backing to promote airflow, and the straps aren't the thickest. At 20L, it's probably good enough for most people, but it could have been better.Overall, it's still a great bag. However, I wish they kept the sternum strap and the foam ridged backing of the larger 28L Transit bag (which I also own).
Photos don't do the materials justice. The outer crinkled nylon is really thick and sturdy, and the ripstop is also thicker than I'm used to.The compartments are all really well thought out, and the main compartment holds more than you'd think, even with the other pockets full.Overall I'm really impressed by this bag and would recommend it to anyone looking for this size of a daily carry, and maybe for use on weekend trips.
Bag was beautiful and high quality. Nice compartments and cleverly designed but bag was too big for my needs (just wanted a small backpack for traveling and holding a water bottle/sweater) and was concerned it would be too heavy. Would be nice for a student.
I own several Bellroy things, and love their design and quality. Confusingly, though, depending on the color the fabric can be really different. I liked the LOOK of the Lunar type, but the fabric was not the best. I much prefer the black, smoother fabric.
The sleekness and overall design of the bag is great. My only issue is the water bottle pockets aren't as big as I'd like.
fine materials but awkward weight distribution; specifically when handling from the top loop. the body itself has an amorphous thing going on which really isn’t for me.
