I expected a good tasting product from Ben & Jerry's but was honestly blown away by just how much I enjoyed this ice cream. Every element is well executed and combines to create a delicious, decadent dessert with a strong salted caramel flavour. The top layer of whipped ice cream on brings just enough chocolate flavour to complement the caramel without overpowering it, and the salted chocolate pieces on top are rich and delicious with the perfect amount of salinity. (Though, I have to note that I have had this tub multiple times now and there have been notable inconsistencies with how many pieces top the ice cream, with my experience ranging from 4 to 12!) Overall, this is an incredible ice cream that definitely warrants its premium price point and I would highly recommend it, especially to lovers of caramel.

De-Lish doesn't even cover this icecream! It's so yummy and creamy and dreamy and hits all the right spots for someone, like me, who is quite picky when it comes to ice cream! If you like Dulce de Leche which is an Italian thing then by all means go for this. It also has a bit of salted caramel in there. Mmmmmmmm!

Caramel Brownie Party flavour is a much better option if you like caramel/chocolate combination. Here, whipped sundae style chocolate topping is ok but the caramel ice cream isn't strong enough to match it. Caramel bars don't add any real flavour or texture. Sundae tubs are smaller than the standard tubs which already shrunk from previous 500ml sizes.

I am a big fan of salted caramel and caramel bars, so when I saw this I had to give it a go. The change in texture throughout with the caramel bar and swirls are nice and didn't taste to sweet. I am not that biggest fan of the sundae style as I feel you lose to much ice cream to the whipped portion but this one was definitely one of the better tasting sundae toppings.Overall very nice and one of the better new flavours.
Benn & Jerry’s ice cream has rocketed up in price and at over £5 for the reduced size tub I have stopped buying it unless it’s on offer like this week. I have never tried this Dulce delish flavour before and it is amazingly good - now the firm family favourite - it is has an amazing caramel mix and I was told one tub isn’t enough. I know they reduced the tub size and upped the price £2 but I used an ice cream scoop and there were actually only 3 full scoops in the tub so works out expensive but worth it when on offer.
I went to try a spoonful of this ice cream and somehow ate the whole lot! The chocolate pieces are caramac/blonde chocolate. The ice cream is salted caramel, but light on the salt. I'd definitely try it again... I just wish B&J came in the bigger tubs that other countries get.
While I?m not the biggest fan of the whipped chocolate on top (but the dark chocolate chunks are LOVELY) I?ve always had a thing for salted caramel/blonde chocolate. Phish food and or the peanut butter Ben and jerries used to be my top two but this caramel one has absolutely pushed phish food off the top spot! I love the large chunks of caramel chocolate,the caramel swirls,it?s so sweet and creamy. If caramel is your thing,seriously give this a shot! And try the peanut butter one? they?re amazing!
Ever since Asda stopped stocking Häagen-Dazs - Dulce De Leche Ice Cream in my local branch, I have been trying to find, comparable, alternatives. I saw this, thought I would try it, but I was, again, frustrated by failure. In sum, it is an acceptable ice cream but similar to Häagen-Dazs - Dulce De Leche Ice Cream it is not.
I think I must have tried all the flavour now from Ben and Jerrys ice cream Sundaes , they definitely are at the top of the range when it comes to ice creams . Unfortunately for me they are so good it’s really hard just to eat one! I think it’s their creaminess and sharp flavours that stand out from the other ice creams on the market. The tubs are just the right size for sharing as well!
With its tempting salted caramel ice cream containing chunks of caramel bar, caramel swirls and topped with chocolate whipped ice cream and more caramel and sea salt chocolate chunks whats not to love about this! Its divine. Great value for money. Its very rich and decedent and probably my new fav flavour. If you love salted caramel and caramel in general then this is for you!
