Benefit Brow Styler Eyebrow Pencil & Powder Duo 01 - Cool Light Blonde

I have shade 3.5 so I’m not sure why it’s coming up as 1 in the review. Anyway, I love this product! I wasn’t expecting to like this at all but I’ve been so impressed by this. The pencil is firm and easy to use to fill in sparse spots or to trace out the shape of my brows. I love the powder side to lightly fill in my brows to make them look a bit fluffier (it makes them look like the powder brows you get from the powder brow microblading technique. I tap off the excess powder product before applying because the small doe foot applicator latches on to quite a bit of product, but as long as I wipe off the excess back into the tube I have no problem. I honestly think once I run out I’ll feel lost without this, so I will definitely be buying a replacement, but I’ve barely made a dent in this. Cannot day enough good things about this. Benefit really does make great brow products. Love that this shade is ashy too, I can’t use brow products that are too warm.

Game changer for sure! I love this double sided brow wand and I think it's magical. It's so easy to over do it with pigment for pomade and sometimes a pencil just falls short of the dramatic look you want. This baby gives me the shape and definition I need. The wax side is my most used and I just use the shadow to intensify the look if needed. Its easy to control and to glide on, where some other brands you really have to push hard. It has a good long wear, I can put it on in the am and will still be perfect when I fall asleep. Not its not permanent super stay so if ya rub your brows you WILL need a touch up for sure, that's really the only downside. Even stays after a bit in the pool I have noticed. I really enjoy using this eyebrow pencil for several reasons. One it matches perfectly to my hair color. I’ve never found one that matched so well. I also like that it gives you two options one I’d the pencil or you can use the opposite side and it’s powder in the color of your eyebrow. Be careful because A little bit goes a long way. I have tried every major brands eyebrow products in an attempt to find one that compliments my light blonde hair and stays on all day. Most brow products for blondes are too grey/taupe and subsequently stand out, rather than blend and look natural. Also, most brow products appear designed for people with a fair amount of brow hair already. I have sparse brows from chemo and medications so really need something that can adhere to skin. Had yet to find any product that met these criteria until a friend recommended this one.The combination of this pencil/powder duo is genius! After playing with it a little, I found it works best just to softly define the front and ends of my brows since the thickness prevents it from being very precise. The powder and pencil together were not bad, but as I like a more natural brow (where you can see the individual hairs), I had to be really careful not to apply too much product because it tended to look heavy/cakey quickly.Overall, this Brow Styler is not a total dud, but for the listed price, there are certainly other products that work better. The packaging does make it convenient and quick to use and carry, but I would rather take a little more time to get the more precise brow look I like.

Ok, this is my new favorite for FAST brows. As in, I don't have time to pull out an angled brush and be super duper precise - I just need them filled in ever so slightly so that they have a more defined shape. You will, however, probably still need a brow spoolie.The powder applies cleanly to the hairs and gives them a very nice defined, yet soft look around the edges - very natural compared to the look you get from a creme/gel/pomade. It's perfect for everyday errands or work, and if you have more sparse areas or want to fill in the margins more precisely, the waxy pencil is perfect. I could see this being great for travel to, since it's essentially a two in one product, you wouldn't need anything else unless you also want to add a brow gel. The pencil end is a great slender shape and very stiff, which makes drawing brush like strokes far easier than a lot of the products I've used in the past have claimed. The powder chamber was what had me worried, fearing that the product would be messy but it really isn't. I've fallen asleep with this on and my brows still looked great. Really happy that I was given the opportunity to try this because I most likely would've passed on this product!
