Benefit Precisely, My Brow Eyebrow Pencil Cool Grey

My eyebrows are terrible. They are just absolutely terrible. I have no idea what I'm doing and half the time they're in two different places on my forehead for some reason. That being said, my brows need all the help they can get! So when I had the chance to get a free Benefit Precisely, My Brow Pencil Mini for free with my latest Sephora order- I jumped at the chance. It makes even people like me who have absolutely NO idea what they're doing with their brows, feel a little more confident! It helped me SO much with filling in my brows and shaping them with just a few lines. It made doing my brows seem SO much easier and made them look even semi-decent! I just wish that it wasn't so dark. It's not CRAZY dark or anything, but it's just a little too dark for me to feel confident using. Maybe. I don't know, I could be completely wrong and they could look fine, it may just be me being too hard on myself. After all, I'm not used to seeing myself with nice eyebrows! For what it's worth though, this is an excellent tool, and I'm probably going to order it in a shade lighter to see the difference. . Great natural colour for grey hair

I decided to in invest in this grey shade thin Benefit Precisely My Brow pencil as I have tried many greys but some are too pale, too dark or just go on nicely or fade away. This Benefit one isn’t exactly grey, it definitely has a touch of brown in there, but that’s a good thing as my brows (what’s left) aren’t grey either, though my hair is. I don’t think it’s thin enough to create thin hair like strokes but it is precise for shaping and it can be blended and softened with the spoolie brush. It stays on well, though I do lightly moisturise first then pencil my really sparse brows. I don’t do them fashionably thick, I have too little for that, I also use the goof proof thick chiselled pencil for filling in in grey. Holy grail brow product ?♥️

I literally don’t live without it. Always keep atleast 2 back-ups, just in case!! First - i have thick brows with come bald spots i like to cover, and while doing so, i like to give my brows the feathery french brow look. Which i achieve using this Benefit “my brow” pencil and “Nudestix brow gel” (i will review that gel separately since its amazing and no one talks about it) The reason i love this pencil is because of the formulation, the ultra thin sharp Fpencil (so i can make hair like strokes) and shade range. The formula is perfect- not to waxy hard and not too soft. The color 4.5 is neutral deep brown which i like since i like to use either cool tones or neutral tones in my brow. Hate the warm brow look. I actually love it!

I decided to pick this brow product when it was 50% off and the moment I tested it on the back of my hand I panicked, because it was so hard and lacking pigment. I thought it was an old pencil and that that was the reason for the sale. I was ready to return it but I am glad I tried it on my brows because that was a completely different story. I just wrote a huge review about how in 7th grade (1996-97) skinny eyebrows were all the rage, my very stylish grandmother warned me that fashion is cyclical and that bushy eyebrows would surely come back in style one day. of course I was only 12 and 12-year-olds know everything so I did not listen to her nor did I believe her. but we all know that she was right. My eyebrows never grew back in fully and when bushy eyebrows came back into style I went to Ulta one day to get them tinted and had to have them filled in even more with an eyebrow pencil. My Brow Pencil Waterprof,Smudgeprof

I used to use the #2 color! I am older and had tattoo eyebrows years ago. I have had light blonde Highlights for many years and have worn this color for many years. This is the Best product out there!! It washes off with normal face cleanser, but has staying power all day and evening. No touch ups! My tattoo eyebrow color has faded with over 18 years and has a ash/green looking color. My eyebrows have thinned and have little hair. I recently needed a new Pencil and wondered what to do to fix this issue. Being in my sixty's now, but no grey hair...I tried the #3 Warm Light Brown pencil and the "warm" tones covered the fading ash tones and actually gave a younger appearance AND very flattering to my face and complimentary to my hair color as well!!! It is mechanical and needs no sharpening while having a nice tip. I just use short light strokes and does not take but a minute to apply. I have aways been a pencil girl and like an easy makeup routine.Just spend a bit more and use this, it is the best and you won't regret!!

My forever go-to brow product

I have tried just about every brow pencil on the market, both drugstore brands and high end, and always find myself coming back to Precisely, My Brow. I, like many others, fell victim to the over tweezed skinny brows of the early-2000’s and now have next to no brows growing in anymore. I LOVE that this pencil stays on through just about anything and is soft enough to blend where needed but also firm enough to keep some definition. My only advice is your skin/brow area must be completely dry before applying or the product will not apply easily, if at all. If I’m doing my makeup and start to sweat a little, if I don’t blot my face completely my brows will be patchy and inconsistent. Other than that, this pencil is fantastic. Very impressed with this after a sample in one of the goody bags. I don’t usually use pencil (preferring tinted gel) but this does a great job of filling in little gaps and looks very natural. With ‘mature’ brows with now transparent hairs at the head (despite the rest being dark) this makes my brows look like they used to and gives nice fine, hair-like strokes. Seems to last ages (on the brow as well as in the pencil) and it’s great not having to sharpen it. I use it with CT legendary brow gel and brows are tidy and uniform all day. One star off for being a bit pricey (although the mini version has lasted 6 months and not yet finished it) and for being unable to see how much is left. Reliable brow pencil.

There's quite a few brow pencils and various brow products I will always keep stock of, this being one of those. If I need sweat-proof and/or morning to evening wear, this is one of the products I might use. It lasts a crazy long time on the brows, doesn't smudge off easily, doesn't sweat off easily... it's just a good, reliable pencil that's fine tipped for my extremely sparse, over-plucked in the early 2000's, brows. You can make those fine hair-like strokes with this. Not as fine as some ink brow pens, which I always use after a pencil and brow gel to finish off my brows. But when I'm in a hurry, this one will do just fine on it's own. And it's one of very few that I would use on its own when I don't have the time to do my usual brow. I don't know if this was a shade that was changed, but it's definitely my favorite for my medium to dark brows that are sparse enough that using a lighter shade (a soft brown shade) looks the best. Anything darker on me just looks off and crazy, especially since I've kept my hair balayaged for years now.

Waterproof - Be Light Handed

This product definitely lasts a long time, no doubt, and it is waterproof. You will want to apply it with a light hand. It is a bit waxy upon application. I was matched in store to the color warm light brown, which actually has way too many red tones, which I was told 3 months later (again in store), after I've been wearing it DAILY - SMH.I did love that it went on super easy, lasted all day, is water-proof, again, apply with a light hand - you don't have to press hard to get this stuff to line, fill in, it applies super easy.
