4K monitor for PS5

This monitor is good. I like how you can use this for the PS5 and get very great picture quality. I must say, this monitor rocks. Not too expensive but it gives my PS5 the best image I ever saw. A definite must-have. The monitor looks cool and is big. It fits my desk pretty well.

Bright 4K display for a nice price.

Very sharp display, bright and brilliant. No dead pixels. Stand is actually nice and solid, not what I've seen out of several other monitors this size. Speakers are functional, but pretty typical for built in so don't expect a lot of volume. Would work for office use but for anything else you'll be happier with regular external speakers.

Great for gaming. Not so much for 4K streaming

This does well with games with its low latency but has pretty bad black levels. Black areas of movies coming blocky and pixelated looking. Maybe it’s the Xbox graphics but I get it even when connected to my cable Box. HDR isn’t good at all. It just sort of brightens the backlight. I never use it. If you set all the levels and colors manually it can look pretty nice with Netflix. For gaming it’s great. Games want fast response and less screen tearing and jittering and this hits those marks. Use it for what it’s supposed to be for and you’ll be fine

Great monitor
21 January 2022

Wonderful display quality and great response rate for gaming. Monitor HDR ability works better than Windows setting allowing this to be "off" in Windows but still allowing the benefits through an "emulated" mode on the monitor for amazing color depth in games that do not have independent HDR not connected to the setting in Windows. Highly recommend using DisplayPort 1.4 cable! Used HDMI and kept having the screen randomly go black. Replaced the HDMI cable with a DisplayPort 1.4 cable and have not had a problem since.

Great monitor
3 October 2022

It arrived day before expected. The monitor is not being used for gaming. It’s used in photo processing and general office work. What appealed to me was eye care due to over use on monitors and the great colour compared to my 12 year old monitor that it replaced.

Great monitor, weird controls!
1 August 2020

I bought this as a lower-cost gaming monitor; it works well for that function. 1ms of inout.lag, 4K, two HDMI ports, and a single 3.5mm audio output. The video quality great, and my only gripe is a lacking USB port. The controls... well I still can't get used to them. Adjusting the volume on this thing is like trying to develop a psychological test to determine if you have dementia, and I am know concered I'm at risk. Every time I adjust any setting, it becomes comedy, as this 30-something tries to click around just to turn down the volume. It's a good monitor, but has curious flaws.

High-quality monitor, great price!
8 December 2022

Great quality at great price, adjustable height, spec's comparable to higher-priced monitors. The only thing that would have made it even better would have been for display port cable to have been included, but this is still a 5-star product.

Sharp and colorful
24 January 2023

I got this for a second monitor for video and photography. While I wouldn't use it to do my color grading on it is a fantastic monitor. The image looks great. I also love that it has a remote control. I would recommend this and other BenQ monitors. I also have a 32 BenQ production for editing and grading, which is great.

Terrible viewing angles & hdmi cable only supports 30 fps
31 May 2022

Got this today with 4 days delay (FedEx's fault, not B&H).I was trying to figure out why the colors were so washed out and I figured out the only way to make this look good is to tilt the monitor way up. That's right, the best viewing is at a weird angle, head on is terrible. Move just a smidge to the side and the color temperature becomes super warm. The other thing is that the included hdmi cable only supports 4k at 30fps, which is really annoying when connecting it to a 60fps Macbook.I'll probably return this and get a Dell or LG.

You get what you paid for
27 September 2021

I only got this as a 2nd monitor for my tool panels as I wanted to replace my Dell HD monitor with a 4K display and didn't want to pay over $1000. Wasn't expecting much for the price tag and much is what I didn't get. Rec709 is really dull and hazy, after fiddling around with the settings I found that sRGB was the best. There's also a darkish gradient at the top, you can really see it when you look up at it from the bottom. Not a big deal but when I turn it 90 degrees you can really see it from the left. I would say my 7 year old Dell HD 24" monitor is better for colour accuracy and quality.I'm not knocking BenQ, my main monitor is from this company and it's the best monitor I ever used.
