I use these to catch small channel cat in our creek. They love the scent on them. Catch 20 to 30 per a pouch of 20. I've also caught crappie on them but not as many as i do on other Jigs.

I have bought other “pre-rigged” swimbaits. Each bait was rigged. NOT this item. While it says pre-rigged, only two of the baits are rigged on a jig. The rest are non rigged. No photos or description says only two are pre-rigged. I purchased a large order of these as I fish heavy cover and get hung up a lot. I was expecting to not require purchasing additional jigs.I spoke to customer service over a week ago. They agreed it was misleading and offered a partial refund or to ship me additional jigs. She said it would be taken date of that day. I have not heard another word.These work well and are good quality, but they are overpriced without the included value of being all pre-rigged as advertised.

I purchased an 18 pack of 2” smelt minnows over a year ago but never used them. Went fishing today with a friend for crappies and gills, fished all morning with not much luck. I started changing baits and found the pack of Berkeley minnows! I put them on and started catching fish immediately. Crappies, blue gills, and sun fish. The truth!! I was totally surprised. Went home with a nice mess.
Didn't catch a fish lol. I'm sure they're fine but I'm not getting the pre-scented ones anymore. 1 use and they go dry and hard. I guess that's the trade-off with having scent

I was telling them about the Australian Salmon I was catching off the beach a couple of hours south of Sydney and that I found whole whitebait inside some of the fish caught. Staff suggested I try soft plastics. Now, I've been fishing for 50 years, but only with bait and metal lures trailed behind a boat. I was sceptical. Staff convinced me to try a pack of 3in Berkley PowerBait Minnows that looked similar to whitebait. The staff selected the jig head to go with the minnows. They opened the packs and taught me how to set the jig heads.I was down at the beach over Christmas. I'm yet to try it without fresh bait on the rig but I think it will work in the surf.Next morning headed to Wallumboula Lake with a 7' Shimano rod I bought from BCF a couple of years ago. I fished off the north bank, just where the inlet widens out. I was wading knee-deep over the shallows just casting 20-30m ahead of me. I picked up two Flathead, 39cm and 45cm in the first half-hour, but nothing after that. I switched back to pilchard and still got nothing.
Was used with a person with live minnows a short distance away and easily held its own when fishing for crappies. Held up better than live minnows as didn’t have to put on a new one as often and could get right back down to the school of crappies before they moved off.
Trolled all morning with varies lures for Salmon and Trout Northern Maine. Had only 1 hit all morning so decided to drop anchor and try jigging. Had no luckwith any rigs, so reached in tackle box and pulled out PowerBait Minnows. First time had tried and within half hour got salmon and two trout. Next day in Western Maine tried a lake with Smallmouth Bass. Fished all AM only couple small fish than decided to try PowerBait Minnow within 15 minutes 3 Large Smallmouth one a six plus pounder. THese are Killers on everything so far. Look like the real thing when jigging. Great when cannot use live bait.
