Bertolli Extra Virgin Olive Oil originale 3L

I received this product for free from Influenster and Bertolli in exchange for my honest review. I love Bertolli olive oil and have used it for years. It’s a great budget friendly choice of olive oil that’s available at most grocery stores. I’ve cooked with it, baked both dinners and desserts with it, and dressed salads with it. It’s a great, all around tasty olive oil to keep in your pantry. I’ve even baked an olive oil cake with it, a recipe that’s usually dependent on typically using more expensive olive oil for a lighter and nicer taste in the cake- but this olive oil performed great. It wasn’t as light of a taste as using a different more expensive olive oil, but this still baked very well and everyone loved it.

I should have taken a photo of the salmon once it was flipped because it was fabulous. There are so many uses for olive oil so I was very happy to get this. The first time I used it, it was to make salmon for my salmon and quinoa dinner and it helped cooked the salmon very well. It didn't have that normal only oil smell that makes me sick and I didn't taste the oil once the salmon was done. Next I used it to make a ground turkey bowl. Then I used it as a dressing for a salad and it was perfect. The smell of olive oil makes me sick sometimes but this one doesn't and I am sure it is because it is a more expensive brand than the ones I normally get. It cools everything without issues and filling the house with that nasty oil smell.

This is a very good Olive Oil I received for free from Bertolli and Influenster in exchange for my honest review! I’ve been a fan of other Bertolli products, but never knew they made olive oil. First thing I enjoyed was the packaging. I’ve accidentally broken so many olive oil bottles in the past, so to see that this was a durable plastic was amazing. It’s a good 16.9oz size which is comparable to other olive oils on the shelves. I’ve used it to cook with along with dipping and marinades. Every time used it was a wonderful rich taste. I personally am switching to Bertolli for my Olive Oil as it’s also a very reasonable price. I definitely would recommend you try this out, as you won’t be disappointed.

This BERTOLLI extra virgin olive oil has a very rich and smooth taste, comparable to butter. It is also very versatile being able to be used in many recipes, dressings, and of course just lightly spread across your favorite bread (mine is homemade). This oil is cold pressed making the acidity level less then .3 percent, making it reach high quality standards. This product is also has a NON GMO verification which makes me feel way better about consumption. It also claims to be the best olive oil brand out there and honestly so far I’d have to agree. It was so indulgent, and for a second I almost felt like I was in Italy or at least a fancy restaurant. This oil is my new go to and favorite.

Excellent Quality Olive Oil!

LOVE Bertolli Extra Virgin!!! Our family has used this olive oil brand for several years. It’s great in any dish, for frying, %26 even for baking when a recipe calls for oil. Beautiful browning on all our meats, turkeys and other poultry, whether roasted in the oven or cooked on the grill outside. Nice flavor to this oil without being overwhelming. We buy the 100-oz. jug to save money, and the jug stays out of light and heat at the bottom of our pantry closet, so we have NO issue with the oil going rancid before it’s used. (Also, olive oil can be stored in the freezer if you are concerned about that.) Absolutely THE BEST tasting and performing olive oil we’ve purchased!

I'm a convert.I follow Dr. Steven Gundry, author of Plant Paradox, and he is a HUGE proponent of olive oil for its polyphenol content and many other reasons. He jokes that food is just an excuse to eat more olive oil. But he is also very clear that it is very important to eat FRESH, unheated olive oil that is less than a year old and goes on to note that it is very difficult to get good olive oil and there are many pitfalls when it comes to buying a truly good quality olive oil. I purchased the bottle in July, 2023 and the harvest date on the back of the bottle was mid-March, 2023! For $10, It was fresh!! It also published the location where the oil was produced.Most of the time it's bad news about grocery store food, but this was a delightful surprise.For about $10, I was able to buy fresh, raw olive oil that was only a few months old. This will be the brand and bottle I buy forever!

I’m an olive oil snob, this is great

I’m an olive oil snob who has regularly driven 3 hours round trip to a specialty market (Zingerman’s) to purchase pricy high-quality olive oils. I have no problem doing this for great olive oil and it’s fun but this oil is just as good as any I’ve tried and it’s a better value, plus available at the grocery store. It’s rich and buttery but also grassy and peppery with the bite to it that makes you cough a bit if you taste a good spoonful by itself. I’m glad they sell this one in a large size, will keep it on hand!

I went by ratings. NEVER AGAIN. Incentivized bs free products. They'll say anything. You can tell btw it's worded and the name sometimes. Lol, Buffy, Megan, etc. Gimme a Ruth! She'll tell the truth, haha. I've used Bertoli in the past. I heard due to dry weather issues there'd be a spike in OVOO prices so I jumped on WM to order a quick delivery bottle. I normally use another, more expensive brand in a glass bottle. I don't LIKE it in plastic, supposed safe plastic or not. I have no way of recycling at my crap apartment complex. I don't go through enough to warrant a 25 oz bottle. I use a wide variety of oils for many different things. In Colorado, you'd think that it would recycle. I DO like this Bertoli OVOO. I hope it tastes the same in plastic.

good price for a decent product

Having been born and raised in Italy, olive oil is a staple of our daily diet. Bertolli has always been a reliable brand. However, unlike the old days, when their olive oil was produced using exclusively, or almost exclusively, olives from Italy, nowadays it is made with olives from a variety of other countries besides Italy, therefore weakening their claim to be an Italian product. Bertolli oil lacks the depth of flavor and fragrance of other, less mass-produced Italian olive oils, but it is an acceptable product for everyday use, especially if consumed in large quantities, as our family does. ll remains a good value, and I hope Bj's will continue carrying it. #sweepstakes#
