is a good olive oil. I like the light taste. The consistency works well for salad dressings. I use this almost daily when starting a recipe where I need to soften some onions or brown some Plant Based Ground Beef. I drizzle on squash, sweet potatoes, or other vegetables before roasting. I also use before cooking eggs, and in baking recipes. I use this olive oil often and always keep this on hand.

A Fine Product

I received this item in exchange for an honest review. I typically buy a generic brand of olive oil, but make sure it’s “extra virgin.” When I received this, I was surprised at how different it tasted from the generic! It has such a rich taste. The packaging does not lie! It would be a great oil for dipping, drizzling, or for marinades. I really enjoy this olive oil and would buy, it’s just a little spendier than I’m used to.

Delicious

I usually get the off brand for all my daily essentials, but my husband did the grocery shopping and picked this up instead of the cheaper one they had. Oh my gosh, what a happy mistake! This olive oil is some of the best I’ve ever had/used. Delicious. It tastes like those fancy olive oils that you dip your bread in at an Italian restaurant. Buying this from now on, worth the extra cents!!!

Good all rounder

I use Bertolli spread all the time so I was interested to try this. (I received it as a gift from Ocado to review.) Extra virgin (EV) olive oil is very like wine in that single estate oils are better, different countries produce different tasting oils, and you tend to get what you pay for. This is a very pleasant smooth tasting oil, with a fair amount of flavour, at a reasonable price, bottled in glass. (I would have given it 4 and a half stars if I could.) My personal preference is for a good Spanish EV oil, which has a stronger, more peppery taste. This appears to be a mixture of oils from different EU countries. If you want a good tasty, but not strong, oil for various purposes, this will fit the bill. Great cost effective organic option

We go through a lot of olive oil in our household and it’s great to find an affordable, organic, quality product at target. We used this for sautéing, marinating and dressings. It had an even taste without being too bitter. I’m excited to try the extra light version for homemade mayonnaise. Only thing I wish they would include is where they acquire their oil from and if it’s a blend from different farms.

Great size and great taste

I usually get the big metal can from the grocery store but I always make a mess trying to pour it into the frying pan. This bottle is the perfect size to go in my cabinet. I've used about half of it and haven't been let down yet. I've used it for salad dressing, frying meat, frying veggies, drizzling over veggies before I bake them and as a marinade base. No complaints at all! I did receive this item to test and review but I am a 35 year old man and have used extra virgin olive oil for you know, a couple decades. I know a good product when I use it.

Lovely EV olive oil for salads

I was sent a voucher to try this and do a review for Ocado. I regularly buy EV olive oil for salad dressings and I very much like Bertolli. Rich, fragrant olive oil which is lovely drizzled over some tomatoes, bit of salt and basil! Save this good stuff for cold dishes and just use 'normal' olive oil for cooking/pan frying.

Organic & Delicious

In the past I have tried many extra virgin olive oils. I received this product in exchange for an honest review and since it arrived have almost used it daily. We have used it for cooking, baking, in marinades, pesto and salad dressings. We love the rich but not overpowering taste and LOVE that it is organic. This oil is our new favorite. We are planning on buying more and are looking forward to using it to saute our garden veggies this summer.

Perfect size for the cupboard

I have used this to cook, almost nightly since receiving it. Great for drizzling over veggies to throw on the grill or roast in the over. We grill often, so we tend to go through olive oil fairly quickly. I have purchased this product in the past, and would continue to purchase in the future. The size of this container fits perfectly in our cupboard near the spices, so I tend to use the larger bottle to refill this sized container- works great! I was given this product in exchange for an honest review.

Very ?Olive? Oily!

I?m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. If you like a strong olive oil, this one is definitely for you. I prefer a slightly milder flavour but this definitely tastes of olives. I like the bottle as it is glass and recyclable but could be even better if it was organic! Still lovely oil and would be great to use for a variety of different things.
