The units were delivered in two deliveries and without the securing clips between the two. now we are not able to open the dryer door it is locked and was delivered that way. did not get a manual unless it is in the locked door. After calls and resarch found what was suppose to unlock the door with pushing the dryness and temp buttons at the same time and it is still locked can not use HELP

Product makes for a very sturdy finished stack, and rates excellent in that respect. Written directions are somewhat tedious to follow with all the cryptic manufacturer part numbers, especially in regard to selecting the correct one of the two rear bracket sets. The Samsung support_care video of the installation clarifies things immensely.

This stacking kit works well. There are two different sets of brackets included to use depending on the model number of the washer. In addition, the kit contains two plastic rails for the base of the dryer. You remove the original adjustable feet and replace them with the plastic rails. Easy to install and securely fastens the wash and dryer together.

This stacking kit works well. There are two different sets of brackets included to use depending on the model number of the washer. In addition, the kit contains two plastic rails for the base of the dryer. You remove the original adjustable feet and replace them with the plastic rails. Easy to install and securely fastens the wash and dryer together.
As other have mentioned, the brackets did not line up with the holes for 27 inch combinations. The kit came with two types of brackets for various configurations. The holes on the dryer lined up, but the holes on washer did not. I only found one useable mounting hole on the washer and was able to use a drill press to make a new hole in the bracket. Thus, each bracket ended up with two screws in the dryer and one bolt in the washer.
The kit is very effective in locking in stacking. I paid to send it overnight FedEx and it took two days and then arrived without the screws included in the kit instructions and pictured, so I had to go to the local ACE hardware and get the right screws. More delays and more money. When I finally installed the stacking kit it worked very well, which is why I'm giving the product at 2 stars rating, 5 for the product and 1 for the kit/on line service agent. Called Lowe's and they did not offer any credit for the screws I bought, just an "I'm sorry, it should have had the screws". They should have offered my a credit for having to go buy the screws at ACE. I would not buy from Lowe's again because of the poor service when I called and not offering a credit.
Just what I needed to put my new washer under my dryer. It’s a stack! It took me forever to find a matching replacement washer, but Lowe’s helped me! I wish I had started with them! They told me what I needed,?including the stacking kit so I had what was needed to get the installation done on the first (delivery)trip!Everyone who comes into my house has to visit my new washer to pay homage — my relief is so great to have a working washing machine again!Thank you, Lowe’s!
This kit work’s excellent in saving room in our laundry room. It was also very easy to install myself, with my wife’s help of course. But, it was so easy for us to do ourselves and our laundry room seems to have doubled in size by stacking this set.
The screw holes do not line up properly on the washer (Model #: DVE45R6100P), even though this is the correct stacking kit for my washer and dryer according to Samsung. I was only able to connect 2 out of the 4 screws on the washer. Also, I do not like the stacking process. You have to get behind the washer and dryer to screw everything together and then slide the entire stack into place after you are done, which is extremely heavy and was afraid that the 2 screws in the washer would not be enough to hold. With my previous LG washer and dryer, you only had to attach the stacking kit to the washer and then place the dryer on top and lock it in from the front, which kept you from having to move both pieces together.
LG makes a superior stacking kit. There is no space on the Samsung kit for the feet of the dryer to rest in on top of the washer. The worst part is this kit only screws the appliances together in the back. Unfortunately, our Samsungs are stacked in a somewhat tight space so we can't reach behind to screw together. Wish we could return the stacking kit, but it is already on the washer and it isn't worth the labor to remove. We are very disappointed and will have to figure something else out. Waste of money and very poor design.
Before you buy this I think it was $40, make sure your going to need it. Our old stackable W/D the controls were on the face of both machines. After I put the D on the W my wife comes in to inspect (who's 5'6"ish) and I saw it was a mistake. Her eyes started down at the washer and continued up to the controls on the dryer. Looked like she was looking at an NBA center. The controls are more tilted toward the top. It was high, I'm sure she could have used it but it would have been a pain. So we put them side by side and threw the kit away.
