we had the deep dish Roaster replaced due to the external colour scratching of after roasting. The replacement item shared the same result.The original Bessemer we had, used many times during the past twenty years faired much better that what we see after 2 roasts.We noticed the new version was lighter than the original, but we expected a better result on the exterior finish if nothing else. At this rate, we'll be lucky if we have any colour left in 6 month's. At this point, we are extremely disappointed.

What a wonderful addition to my Bessemer collection. So versatile and saves cleaning my oven. Love the addition of the grill in the roaster...great for making gravy from the meat drippings. A great product and the size is just right...very happy with it. Bonus of free shipping as well.

Great. We plan to slow cook 6 lamb shanks in a rich red wine and garlic sauce. We will then freeze them in dinners for two for us. We have cooked a roast and it came out great. Browned the potatoes beautifullySue

Great size, very versatile, can be used for many different things. Great for roasting, making soup, casseroles, lid used for frying also. My only disappointment with Bessemer now is that I cannot upgrade every 5 years like in the past. I could trade in pieces for new ones at a discounted price, and they would be recycled. Why has this practice stopped?
I haven't used this yet as I'm not sure how to?There is no instructions or tips on how to use it. Can it only go in the oven or just the cooktop?I've searched YouTube as other videos are there, but none I could find on the roaster. Please put up a how too video on this one, so I can get the most out of my new pan. I'm sure I would love it as much as my other pans if I knew how to use it properly. Cause I don't want to ruin it.
I was upset to find the quality of the metal has changed. It’s not worth the same as past items. It’s cheaply made and still pricy.If they are making it lighter and cheaply made, then the price should be lower.I’m just not happy. It is so light and no longer heavy like cast iron.I’ve been buying bessamer for over 35 years and all the pots and pans were thick heavy and so good to cook with. Now it’s so light and thin.I’m not happy with my purchase.
Like all high end cookware it will last forever so long as you don’t leave it on stovetop on the highest heat, it has multiple layers to hold and retain heat so warm it up, then turn down the heat and cancel the heat well before the finish time so food rests in the heat of the pan, leaving it juicy n tender every time. I’ve been using Bessemer products for 40 years and never a single mark on the surface.
I would love to buy this baker but it is not suitable for induction therefore the grill would be useless.Come on Bessemer, all your other products are induction suitable why not this one. Most kitchen upgrades these days include induction technology.
I LOVE how versatile it is! I am obsessed with the fact that I can fry in it too! There is a huge base and high sides to minimise splashing. And as always, the quality of the cook is fantastic.
I am so pleased with my purchases from Bessemer. My mother purchased a deep 28cm pot with lid and oven roasting tray for me nearly 30 yrs ago and part of my recent purchase was a replacement pot. I only replaced it as it’s starting to show a little wear on the surface coating after all these years. Thank you Bessemer for making quality products that last so well.
