Absolutely 100% as good as everyone makes out. The product is well built, exactly as described and leaves you with a sense of ultimate relaxation. The description does say sits 4-6 people...no, it fits 2 comfortably, 3 or 4 sitting cross legged. Heats up fast. No idea on running cost yet. Its a lot noisier than I thought it would be, neighbours commented on it already!I have no regret at all about buying this, even with the horrendous excuse for the customer service i received when they double charged me for the item. Would reccomend. Buy a gazebo for it though, when it rains the rain catches and pools on the cover - there is no way around this. Just accept you need one for it lol

Best thing I've ever bought in my life!

I spent a long time researching hot tubs before I went with this Hawaii Hydrojet. And I am so glad I put the extra money in to get the Hydrojets they really make the hot tub a hot tub. The air jets are amazing but I absolutely love the Hydrojets. They are so powerful and I feel so relaxed after a long soak.It was so easy to set up I didn't even look at the instructions. It's solid and excellent quality on the liner and the pump feels sold and its very efficient to what I expected. The timer is golden too. I set it for 8 hrs to come on inthe morning so it's heated all day and night then gets switched off for 8hrs. Don't buy it, Invest in it

As such in the moment you're inside, the whole world and much of the nonsense that goes with it can just go and do one! There's a degree of maintenance. You don't really need seats in these like I initially thought. I wrap a stocking 15 denier light colour around the filter so it lasts longer. When I top up, which when temperature is left on 37 becomes worryingly often, I use hot water from the combi boiler, saves money on electricity. I keep the pump running quietly at night, it's much like a fish tank pump so it's low energy. I keep the temperature between 35 < 37 which is plenty warm. I use a floating chlorine dispenser too. I've added led lights, the kids love it.I recommend a tent or shed over it to protect from ice, snow, rain, sun.. But you want to be able to sun in this spa so use a temporary cover. The controls are easy, the blower is a bit loud but you can cover the controller with lots of towels to quiet things down, just don't cover vent holes at bottom. I kept my pump control unit in it's Styrofoam base for added protection. I also bought a fish tank cleaning net and sponges for cleaning. I also made a cone shape shampoo bottle and garden hose vacuum for cleaning the bottom of any sand particles - they get in there. I'll add a review on You Tube, there's not much online about the spa. Great investment to the garden!

Excellent Spa

We've pondered over buying a Lazy Spa for years but missed the opportunity to pick one up before Covid lockdown after which they became prohibitively expensive. We've had our spa for a few days now and we are very pleased with it, especially at the current, reduced price. I certainly wouldn't be tempted at full RRP though. Setup was very easy in spite of the woeful instructions but there are plenty of helpful videos on Youtube to guide you through the process.Given the number of videos on the subject I expect many buyers struggle with balancing the water quality and I've personally found that the test strips in the starter kit do not provide consistent results. Having commissioned many water treatment systems over the years (but now retired) I will probably invest in a pool test monitor for my own peace of mind.The Hawaii hydro-jet spa is ideal for us. Not as large as others in the range (only 795 litres instead of 1100 litres for the larger spas) so filling - and more importantly heating - will cost less. The square shape of the Hawaii spa still provides more room in to stretch out corner to corner. The hydro function is well worth the extra money if you can stretch to it as the water jets are more soothing and the pump is much quieter. The air system is great but is very noisy. Ideal for a short period but not very relaxing if you just need to ease aching limbs.All in all and excellent purchase.

Paid slightly more than I wanted to on this item due to demand but this is certainly a good starting point if you want to have a hot tub without spending thousands on a fixed unit. The heat gain is excellent so on a good sunny day it reaches 32* with the lid on and no heating, even on our 1st cloudy day in the southeast at 22* the tub has reached 29* on the control unit. Size of the tub is ok for me and my wife but I would not like to squeeze 4 adults into it. Treatment was a little tricky to get correct especially when one set of test strips were telling me to add more chlorine. As I suspected this was wrong I purchased a pack of clear water test strips and got the sample confirmed by my local spa shop so now all is good. I would certainly recommend pushing the budget and go for one with the jets if you can as it does make a great addition to the tub. Lasts 2 summers then dies

These spas, like love, don't last forever. Enjoy them while you can. And you will. You'll love them. But bear in mind they have a very short lifespan. We bought ours 2 summers ago. It was protected with a pergola/gazebo. After one summer the tiny plastic part that swivels and allows water flow broke. They can't be fixed. Luckily it was still in warranty, so after several phone calls to a guy called Jeffrey in Sydney, and sending numerous videos, we received a replacement heater/pump. Today I went to set up. As soon as I started the inflation it was obvious that part of the inner lining by the filter housing had failed and it just hissed air out. Again, the lining is heat welded and can't be fixed. It requires a whole new tub. No thanks.

Loving our hot tub!

We have had this set up about a month now. It does sound as if it is plug and play but when you read the instructions a sufficient outdoor electric supply of at least 6mm armoured cable is required. Haddnt quite planned for that, so there was a slight installation delay, much to my dissapointment! That done the rest was easy!I bought some rubber interlocking mats to put it on to retain heat as I didn't rate the bubble wrap mat it came with. Getting up to temp from cold does take some time as expected. (Left overnight) temp seems to go up about a degree an hour....Definitely gets hot enough!No problems with heaterA few tips that seem to workChange filter about every 4 days and put through a 30 min washing cycle with some vanish to reuse.20gm tablets seem ... MoreWe have had this set up about a month now. Im not sure that all of the pros have this as I was wanting to use salt water rather than chlorine. Overall very happy with our purchase. Evenings with a G&T watching the sun set in the tub are fabulous after a long day!! Buy one you won't be dissapointed!!

Walked into B&Q and loved this from the outset. The cost made it really desirable too.The box is big and heavy so it needs a big car to fit it in, and two people to carry so be prepared. Got it home and unpacked it. The instructions are not very clear , but a bit of common sense and you can work out whats what. Best advice is to have your flat area ready. I bought some foam matting as a base then laid the bubble mat on top of that.Next up is to lay the main tub/liner on top , then unpack the pump and put it next to it. Connect the long black convoluted pipe to the pump outlet and the other end into the connector on the tub. This is to inflate it. Turn on the pump and press the bubble function to inflate. The greatest inflatable spa around!

The greatest inflatable spa around. Loving the extra jets in the wall. Very powerful, easy to set up and drain and takes only about half an hour to fill. Was very quick to inflate done in 5 mins.I used interlocking EVA foam tiles under the spa which I highly recommend doing to keep the heat in and make the base nice and comfy. Have had it for a month now and it's fantastic.The filters get quite dirty quickly so make sure you clean them often.Brought through bunnings with the free delivery option, was a great experience, Highly recommend.
