My throat was so painful it was like knives slashing the inside of my throat. Within hours of using Betadine, there was improvement, and by the next day I could swallow. The taste is shocking but who cares? This is a magic elixir.
This product may work.. or it may not. I have no interest in finding out. The taste of this concoction makes me prefer the sore throat. It tastes like you a gargling the normal betadine you put on a scrape... absolutely horrid!!
I have been using this product since 1998. It has kept me safe for many years. It was first prescribed for me as a mouth wash to keep a post surgical site on my tongue disinfected. Then I began using it as a gargle at the first hint of sore throat and generally bypassing infections.
