They make everything sound awful and I love them for it, really great studio monitors. That's to say that they're actually revealing of the flaws in the audio, so like, they're doing their job. The non-detachable cable remains an annoyance but it's fine, I guess.

These are great headphones for in the studio and the sound is great as long as you have an amplifier to drive them!
Only about a week so far, bought as a replacement for DT770 (80ohm) that lasted almost 7 years before I broke them in an accident. Decided to go with a higher-ohm version to see what the difference was. It's quite a bit quieter from my sources, but with an amp these sound amazing. A little more muted, if anything, than the 80 ohm version (my older ears may also be more sensitive now).The connector has changed, or maybe it is merely different for the 250ohm version; but the 3.5mm one looks a bit more fragile than it did. I much preferred the 990’s over these. Not bad per se, but I found the sound signature to be too “muffled.” They were the 32 ohm version though and I have heard good things about the 250 ohm version so maybe I’ll give those a try
Not bad for a closed back. I much prefer a more neutral sound and these were very V-shaped.
Didn’t love these too much bass for these ears. Good sound suppression tho
