Bialetti Coffee Press Preziosa | 350ml

French press beats most other brewing methods hands down. Flavor and convenience. I am the only coffee drinker in my household and live in an 1880s cottage with no kitchen counter space. This takes up almost no room, brews three large mugs of coffee, and fits in the back of the fridge if I choose to make cold brew the night before. This has borosilicate glass sitting inside a silicone sleeve so the handle never gets too hot. It's a triple layer plunger so I've only had coffee grounds escape into my cup a few times when I accidentally filled too much water. The triple filter design means coffee grounds do stick around the edges of the plunger so I unscrew it all to clean it about one a week.

Holy grail for Cold Brew coffee. Make it in the evening and have fresh cold brew French pressed HEAVEN in the morning. I want a bigger one now :) but this does hold 8 cups. Priced very well and quality is top notch. Found my new favorite way to have my morning cup(s) of joe a.k.a. life. Go get one!

Glass section cracked

Despite having a large cafetiere, I was looking for a one cup version and this seemed to fit the bill. I can't remember when I purchased it but it wasn't that long ago. Up until now, it's worked pretty well however today, I've just made some coffee and left it to brew - only to find liquid coffee all over the kitchen surface. The glass had a long vertical crack in it which, as it was in perfectly good condition before I poured the water in, I can only presume that the boiling water caused it. Not good.

Looks nice but weak glass

I bought in store as seemed to be the main available option. Initially delighted but within 10 days, as others have said, glass broke - again as other reviewers have noted, with no wear or tear or misuse. I now see that getting a replacement glass is tricky as I've been trying to navigate the Bialetti website. JL please can you stock the glass as it makes sense to do so if you are selling a lot of this product. Meanwhile I have a metal frame sitting on the side

Lovely cafetière/french press

Really good to look at.Proper sized handle that allows a full grip.Nice Bialetti little man cut out on the metal.Other materials are glass and stainless steel which I'd much rather add hot water too, avoiding heating plastic.Markings on glass have started to fade, after owning for nearly 2 years.Good quality, makes 3 cups/1 mug of coffee.Very happy with it.

Poor Quality

Purchased last month and today I have noticed the glass has cracked. This product really is not worth wasting your time with. All feels very cheap.

The Best

I am very happy with the latest addition to my Bialetti range at my Coffee Bar. The 1 litre capacity makes it ideal to treat my family or friends with a flavourful brew. I had a cozy made as a wrap around to retain the heat during steeping.

Very expensive to replace glass!

Had this product for a year, I took good care of it, it didn't get dropped or anything, I did use it regularly however (3-4 times a week). Just noticed a vertical crack has appeared at the bottom of the glass. Disappointed that John Lewis doesn't stock replacement glass for this brand, and disappointed with Bialetti for making their cafetieres just 4mm smaller (circumference) than the other, cheaper glass replacements. Having checked on other websites, it's going to be better value for money in the long run, to buy a different cafetiere that does fit the cheaper glass replacements, but I will not be buying either from John Lewis or Bialetti in the future.

Very good Quality

Very pleased with quality of this coffee pot. The glass is thick and the 8 cup pot is quite heavy. It looks nice, the handle is large and comfortable. I particularly like the engraved plunger button. It is comfortable to press down on. One slight issue is that the lid has a plastic insert inside the lid which stops the coffee pouring smoothly but this is a very minor issue and it doesn't dribble down the side of the pot and the lid stays on well when you tip up so overall I am very happy with my purchase. It is a quality item.
