Oh my gosh! My 4 year old daughter absolutely loves these amazing high tops. She is incredibly fussy with shoes, I don’t even want to think of the amount of $$$ I’ve spent on shoes she refuses to wear. I was worried that this purchase would be the same and it took me a month of procrastinating about it before I took the leap and brought them and I’m so pleased I did, the quality and make of these amazing shoes is incredible. I’ve since ordered 2 more pairs- the sandals and a different style of high tops. A massive Thank you to Every Human 💗

I purchased these shoes for my daughter in kindergarten. She had worn them less then 30 days and they ripped at the seam of the zipper. Huge waste of money and not durable. I’ve tried to get a hold of customer service of the company and heard nothing back. Beware.

I took my son to Nordstrom's to try on their unique BILLY shoes. He wears plastic foot braces and needs very particular shoes to fit on top of those. BILLY shoes unzip completely, so it's simple to put his foot right in the shoe with his AFO's on. We had a very pleasant experience with the staff as they fitted my son's foot and helped us find the right size. The shoes came in the mail only 4 days after ordering them in the store, and my son loves them. These are his first pair of shoes that he can really use; he can't walk unassisted, so having these fully supportive, adaptable shoes available for kids like my son is a huge blessing!

Billy shoes are amazing shoes. The zipper opening allows a child or an adult to put on the shoes without a fuss in under a minute. My daughter has a wealth of special needs, and she has to wear AFOs to walk. I have struggled for years to find a shoe that fits over her AFOs without tugging and pulling and fighting to put on her shoes everyday. Then I found Billy shoes and life has changed so much for both of us.The shoes fit true to size, and they easily adapted for special needs kids. Plus, Billy has expanded the fabrics and designs, so now my daughter's shoes are stylish. This year's the blue denim sparkle style shows the wear less and the sparkles are so fun. I am so grateful for the zipper design and that she can wear cute shoes like other children!
My daughter is not only very fussy about the shoes she will wear, she also has a super broad foot.I had her feet fit at a proper shoe store, and even their widest fitting school shoe wouldn't fit.I measured her feet at home as per the size directions, and found the medium width would fit.Was a little sceptical when they arrived if they would fit and be comfy - but miss 6 absolutely loves them!They haven't needed any wearing in, are super easy to put on/take off and she says they are super comfy!!#winning
It is very difficult to get shoes for my daughter. She does not walk and on a wheelchair but will still need good fitting shoes and easy to put on. I took her to Alderwood children’s dept and Dominic L helped me. He saw how difficult it was to fit her as she curls her toes when you put on shoes so he found the very shoes that I’ve been looking for for 40 years! He found me Billy shoes that zips around the front. Fits perfectly and my daughter loves it. I’ve been taking her to the other stores but only Dominic saw the need and found the great shoes for her. My daughter can be very picky about her shoes, but she likes these. I was concerned she might have trouble with how high they are and the sides are stiff. The soles are higher off of the ground than other shoes, almost like a platform shoe, but she walks well in them so it is not a problem. The stiff sides might be providing extra support. These shoes are the cutest and even nicer in person. They’re all my 2.5 year old wanted to wear when we got them. Unfortunately every time she’s worn them, she’s gotten cuts on her inner ankles at the upper lip of the shoe. We’ve tried longer and thicker socks, but there’s something that keeps sticking her and always results in needing bandaids after. They now just sit in her closet looking pretty.
I’m so grateful for these shoes! My son wears AFOs and finding shoes is a struggle. They are reasonably priced as well. I wish certain things about the construction were better. But overall we are satisfied. I was a little disappointed to hear they were on backorder. Apparently these easy to put on shoes are all the rage with kids that can’t ties their laces. However, for a mother of a special needs child, these shoes actually serve a much higher purpose. I wish parents of fully functioning children wouldn’t be so quick to buy them up.
