I've used this product for years, both to unclog serious drain issues and to maintain the drains flowing. The bacteria do seem to consume the organic material clogging the drain, and plunging will then loosen it up and open up the clog. Follow the instructions and be patient. So much better than putting sulfuric acid drain cleaners down old pipes.

I got this more for the health of my septic tank. I did use it in the farthest toilet from the septic in my house. As instructed, it did help with the ability to flush. Only time will tell how well it works in the tank itself. The only down side to this product is mixing it up, it takes some time to dissolve and a lot of mixing. Otherwise well worth it.

I had been dealing with sewer flies for months. I poured straight bleach down the kitchen sink and the shower stall. It worked for a little while until the bleach became immune to them. I tried homemade remedies, vinegar, baking soda and nothing worked. I did a 5 day treatment of Bio-Clean, I first poured a boiling pot (the kind you boil spaghetti in ) of water followed by the Bio-Clean. It almost took care of all of them, I see one maybe 2 now flies on the counter. I plan to do another treatments soon just to make sure they stay away.

Had to have a plumber to recently use the industrial snake to dislodge a clog in the pipes which was not cheap at all. He gave me some good advice before he left. He told me to get Bio Clean for septic drain systems and use it once a month to keep my drains running free and clear. I ordered it that very day and have been using it since. Paying almost $50 dollars for Bio Clean is much better than having to pay a plumber. It is very easy to use as well. For the first 5 days, you simply flush 1 small scoop of Bio Clean down the toilet, then just use the product one day every month. The 2 lb tub of product will last over a year. Simple, clean, and no plumber... I love that.
For over 1 year, every 2-3 months my drain lines would plug. Had to have plumber. Finally found out about this stuff. They recommend for bad to treat every day for 2 weeks. I treated every day for 1 month. Now just once per month, have never had another problem, and it's been several years since I started using this. AWESOME product! Please note, you probably have to get drains unclogged 1st before using this product...
This ad is deceitful! You would think there are two in a pack for $73 but no just one in a pack. You can get a 2Ib Bio Clean Drain opener for $49.95 on Amazon. I had to return my purchase for a refund. Do not be deceived.
None of my drains were completely backed up but the floor drain/foundation drain in my basement just would not clean out no matter how many draino or baking soda/vinegar reactions I attempted. The drain flys were also out of control. With this product I did the 5 consecutive day treatment of all drains in my house and have noticed a difference near the surface of each drain with the drain flys being vastly reduced and other gunk stains all but not gone. The way I understand this product keeps eating biological material as it goes through the pipes for up to 2-4 weeks so I’m hopeful it keeps working and kills the rest of the tiny winged devils.
they are not charging correctly. i got charged 73 dollars for one jar. normally that costs 45 dollars. the description leads you to believe you are getting 2 jars but no. dont fall for the 2 in the name like i did. they are trying to trick you.
