I had high hopes for this lotion after using the original BioOil religiously in my early 20s. The size of the bottle is good and it’s amazing the product is completely fragrance free - good for those who aren’t a fan of strong lotion scents. However… the lotion is wayyyyy too runny - even after shaking prior to each use, I was still left with a slippery thin liquid that always spilled when I tried to apply to my arms and legs no matter how little I tried to put in my hand to apply. It is a very oily formulation (which I wasn’t surprised given it’s roots) but it meant that you can’t get dressed straight after applying it otherwise it gets all over your clothes & can be hard to get out. If the formula was just a tad bit more thicker and not so liquidy it’d be great but I reckon you can get similar results with other body lotions on the market that may also be cheaper too.

My legs are extremely sensitive, and I am prone to strawberry legs after shaving, WHICH I have tried countless products to attempt to soothe or calm them down. I applied the lotion after shaving, and it left my legs soft, supple, hydrated, glowy and extremely soothed. For once, my legs were not all red, bumpy and irritated after applying a product! The lotion has amazing consistency. I appreciate its watery texture as it absorbs way nicer into the skin and dries easily instead of rubbing off onto clothing or feeling thick or greasy.
