I have some scarring from eczema flare-ups that I couldn't keep my hands off, and was highly recommended to use this to help the scarring. $9 and a year and a half later, there has been NO CHANGE in the state of the scarring. I began using this product in January of 2022, after a particularly raw and scaly patch of skin finally healed over. I have applied Bio Oil twice a day minimum to try and lighten the dark, dry, scaly patch, and it did nothing. I have used Bio Oil Skincare Oil in the past, many years ago after the birth of my children as it was recommended to reduce the appearance of stretch marks. I wasn’t very consistent as felt it wasn’t helping. However, after many years I decided to give it a go again. It is very nourishing and really helps my very dry skin, especially on my legs and tummy area. I have been using it consistently everyday and it feels nourishing and not sticky as some oils can be. It doesn’t leave a sticky residue either, the oil absorbs nicely and fairly quickly into the skin. However, it hasn’t aided my stretch marks but has left my skin feeling hydrated and very nourished.

I've used it mainly on my face, and have definitely noticed a firmer, plumper feel. And more of a glow.On the whole it absorbs amazingly well for an oil, and I haven't been left with any spots, but I have noticed patches of greasiness on occasion, even after I've massaged it in. I absolutely loved this product. First thing I do is notice the smell and this smells gorgeous. It smells fresh, natural and relaxing. The oil doesn't feel greasy once it is rubbed in. I have used it on a recent scar and on my face. It works well as a facial oil. I need to exfoliate my skin on face about once a week in order for creams to soak in. If I rub some bio-oil onto my face after exfoliating and then put moisturiser after that, the hydration is even better. My face glows after this extra step and feels dewy. I don't know what long term effect it will have on my scar as it has only been two weeks but it does keep it soft. I definitely plan to continue using this. I love the scent and feel. It is also good for hydrating elbows which can get a bit rough
I’ve used bio oil since 2005. I stopped a few years ago and discovered it is available on iherb. My skin is thankful. I noticed that the stretchy skin and faint stretch marks I was developing since becoming a mom are fading, my skin tone is improving as well as my complexion. I was at first applying direct to my skin after showing but now I’m adding to my lotion to make it last. I got the larger size bottle and I’m halfway through after a few months of excited use. The scent is unique but not overbearing, although it is an oil, it applies like a dry oil and not much residue left, only a healthy glow. I feel confident recommending bio oil.
