Bioderma Atoderm Intensive Balm 200ml

I was given a tiny sample tube of this product by a friend, and wow! My skin looked and felt amazing. I went online and bought the 16.7 oz pump bottle. After wearing flip flops and sandals all summer I couldn’t wait to see what it did for my feet. Even after exfoliating my heels they always still felt rough. I would use other creams and a few hours later, my feet would be “crunchy” again. This product is wonderful! It does leave my skin a little tacky (not super sticky) so I prefer to apply it before bed. My feet haven’t felt this soft in years! I use all over my body now, and my skin looks smoother and more radiant, not to mention softer. I am just blown away at the results to my heels, my husband is also loving that my feet no longer scratch him 😂

You name it, Ive tried it Cetaphil, Cerave, Balneum, Dipobase, Aveeno, Cetraben, Eucerin ad the list goes on, with little to no success with any of them. So when I stumbled across Bioderma Atoderm Instensive Baume on offer, I though what the heck and gave a it a go And what a relief I did. Hands down the best body cream I have tried by a mile it manages to provide long lasting moisturizing and easing of pruritus without causing any allergic reaction or blemishes. Bioderma atodwrm intensive ultra soothing balm is my favourite body lotion as I have got very very dry skin and dry excema. It stops my skin from itching. So glad I found it on a holiday spent in the South of France! It s intensive but doesn't leave a film on the skin as soon as it's absorbed. Brilliant in conjunction with shower oil

This product is really good. I was happy that this has helped my sore, dry cracked skin. I suffer from eczema on my feet of all places! As a result I found that I’m often stuck with really sore cracked soles of my feet and nothing helps me. I usually just have to wait it out! After using this on the bottom and sides of my feet it has dramatically helped. My flaky skin has almost gone and the redness and soreness has gone! I’ve also been impressed with it in the rest of my body. It’s moisturising and it lasts, it is slightly tacky at first but this then ends up leaving you with a normal skin texture - moisturised and comfortable. Smells a little boring - like straw, but of course this means it doesn’t irritate sensitive skin. Moisturiser is slightly difficult to rub ... MoreThis product is really good. Great for eczema but is kind of sticky

I have very sensitive skin. I had serious eczema as a child and now it has come back recently in my adult years. I have been using this lotion for the past four months daily and my skin has improved -- although I do have eczema flare ups at least once a week. During the humid summer, Bioderma Atoderm Intensive Balm does not dry quickly and does leave my skin sticky, but after 2-3 hours it dries. I don't recommend using this lotion if you have plans on going to the beach later in the day, because the sand will coat your skin and not come off. I prefer to use this lotion in the fall and winter time when the humidity is low like 20-30%. I have to say, however, that as with all moisturizing products there is a certain stage when eczema skin is healing and no matter what ... MoreI have very sensitive skin. I will admit that this lotion does sting during that short period of time of healing. I would recommend instead, during that period, to use instead Eucerin Advanced Repair lotion with its gel texture that is cooling.

Had to return

Bought this and immediately had to return it due to it containing xylitol in the ingredients. Although xylitol is an excellent humectant and thickener, it is unfortunately extremely toxic to dogs, even in tiny amounts. I work with dogs all day and cannot risk poisoning them if they happen to so much as lick my hand. If you have a small dog, a dog who likes to lick lotion (some of them do!), or a dog who is prone to busting into products they're not meant to have, please reconsider purchasing this product. It's just as toxic as chewing gum or the fabled "xylitol peanut butter" that we don't really have in Canada. Super disappointed... I was looking forward to this. I hope they can reformulate at some point.

Highly recommended for sensitive skin

I tend not to write any reviews online but wanting to share a review. It doesn't break me out but providing the moisture my skin barrier needs in winter. I will also try see if I can use this in summer. I struggled with finding right lotions/creams after using many many many products including high price ones for sensitive, dry-prone and rosacea skin. None of them worked so I kept searching until I found this product with an affordable price. You don't need to use a lot, but this size can keep using for a long time. I noticed I no longer feeling itchy on my skin during the night after using few weeks. This balm also goes well underneath applying mineral sunscreen.

Nice product

I really enjoyed using Bioderma Atoderm Intensive Balm. It did soothe my skin, the flare ups look better in my opinion and I will continue to use it, however I wouldn’t go as far as saying it helped it completely. The texture is pleasant although I was thinking a bit more rich formula would possibly be better in my opinion. Still the formula it comes in is very nice though! It absorbs really well too which is a massive plus for me. I would only say the price point for this is a tad too much. Don’t get me wrong, I would be willing to pay even more for a body moisturiser of it blew my mind but this one didn’t. I could perhaps buy it on offer and I don’t necessarily rule out buying it in the future - just saying that I wouldn’t buy it for full price. The best line of products for atopic dermatitis

I am leaving the same review for all three product I use, as I use them together and they work: I don't want to sound like a paid promoter, but I am sooo happy and grateful for the atoderm range. The past 2 months I've been searching for a suitable product for my 5 months old baby with eczema, did go through some top shelf products - weleda derma, aveeno dermexa range, la roche lipika and syndet , as well as pharmacy dispensed ones- some worked better than others, but none of these were to soothe a flare up without the initial and then occasional application of corticosteroids. I'm so happy I could cry, all this frustration of thinking that I will never be able to manage his constant flare ups without steroid creams - as despite the elimination diet on my part (he is breastfed) - flare ups still happen. I am so hopeful, as just used this range for 2 days - the shower oil to bathe and wash him,and then the atoderm intensive balm and the atoderm sos spray which I found online in a pharmacy only, here it was still 'coming soon' - so only 2 days and this is the first time I've seen his skin this healthy and glowing without touching one drop of his prescription, like when before he came down with eczame at 3months old, just velvety smooth baby skin, definitely recommend.
