Bioderma Atoderm Shower Oil 1 L

I have very sensitive and reactive skin and have to avoid a LOT of ingredients. There are several “natural” shower gels and soaps that I use and love, but they aren’t the best at getting mineral sunscreen off. If I’ve used full body SPF, or if my skin is feeling extra dry, itchy or just plain finicky I turn to this shower oil. I have used other shower oils before, including the two other most popular: Neutrogena and L’Occitane’s almond and HATED both. It’s fragrance free, but does have a natural, subtle pleasant scent that doesn’t linger. It’s very soothing for dry winter skin too. It comes in different sizes, but I always buy the liter because I use it so much. It can also be used on the face and I know people who use it to wash their hair too and love it as shampoo. I haven’t tried either of those, but this would be an amazing all - in - one for guys, kids, or women who don’t have long hair or hair that gets tangled easily. It’s inexpensive and I always purchase on Amazon. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I liked the fresh soapy scent and very light lather this shower oil provided. It cleansed my body nicely and removed my sunscreen without any need for harsh scrubbing. Even though it’s noncomedogenic, I decided not to try it on my face since the skin on my body is usually drier and in need of more moisture. When I exited the shower, my skin felt smooth and not irritated at all. The skin on my arms especially can be very sensitive and doesn’t react well to most body washes, so this Bioderma product being so gentle was a success in my book! I’m thinking of grabbing this to replace my current body wash…

A Wonder Product.

I can't use anything with a high fragrance and if the product doesn't suit me I can end up with a rash over most of my body. I've used products specifically for sensitive skin and still had problems. I've used Biodrema products so decided to try this. I've been using it for a few months now without any irritation. It is different from most body washes and doesn't foam but it does clean beautifully, leaving my skin without any dryness and most of all, no irritation. It is incredibly economical as it isn't expensive in the first place and a few pumps does the entire body. The bottle is easy to hold as is the pump so that it is pleasant to use as well as extremely effective. Absolutely amazing!!

I have always struggled with extremely dry, flakey, rough skin. My whole life. I have been looking for a good cream/cleanser to help me with my dry skin, and I've been looking for years with no help. Every cream I've tried just dries it up and never makes my skin soft. I recently tried this mixed with a body cream from The same company, and I can seriously say, this thing has changed my life lol. I would always be so self conscious about my dry skin. After one use, I have the softest skin I have ever had. I haven't felt dry, or scaly since I started using this and the cream after. Will never get anything else. This seriously has changed my life!!!

Good not great imo

The smell isnt great. Almost sour? But in an off way not citrus-y. But the scent doesn't linger. It spreads ok but its got a sort of jelly texture and even with wet skin it doesn't spread easily. I like it best when i spread it on then scrub with a loofah. It seems to lather up a little but if you use the loofah but won't lather at all if you don't cause its not an oil to foam formula. Not sure how clean my skin is getting with this when used with my hands almost felt like it left residue but with loofah i feel clean no residue. After a few showers i will day i think my skin is softer and a bit more hydrated so i will continue to use it. If they improved the scent or removed it i would give it 4 stars.

Head to Toe

I love to double cleanse to cleanse off makeup/sunscreen and was looking to try a new oil cleanser. I’ve tried Bioderma’s micellar water so I thought this would be a good try. First of all, I realize that this is geared for body use but it does state it can be used on your face as well. It is a huge bottle and I’ve had no reactions using it on my face. I’ve also heard oil cleansing for your scalp also helps so I am going to try it on my scalp as well. The size is huge and would last me a whole year if it’s just meant for face washing and 6 months if I use it for body use. Definitely worth it. It starts off as oily cleanser and then you add a little bit of water which turns it a little foamy and I double cleanse with a foaming cleanser. Non oily body wash

The Bioderma Atoderm Shower Oil comes in a 200ml clear plastic bottle and has a blue pump top dispenser. It can be turned to lock into position, but I would tape down as an added precaution if you are planning to travel with it. I've never used a cleansing oil, for my face or body and I wasn't sure how to best use it. To start with I used it as a first step cleansing oil for taking off my makeup but I didn't find it that effective for that purpose. I decided to use it in the shower instead, dispensing about one to two pumps onto my mesh sponge and found that it lathered up well. It has a lovely light fragrance and doesn't leave behind any oily residue. This worked really well for my dry skin on my legs which I am prone to in Winter. Nourishing

So nice on my skin! I emerge from the shower feeling moisturized, not dry. Since I have very dry skin, I do follow up with moisturizer afterwards to seal it all in. One day I noticed that the bottle was getting empty at an unusually rapid pace. I asked my husband if he was using it and he said he was and loved it! He has very sensitive and dry skin, prone to irritation from allergens. This seems to be the best and easiest way for him to get relief! He's not the type to spend time especially in the morning to moisturize. Doing it in the shower eliminates the time issue. I will purchase again when back in stock, even if only for my hubs!

An amazing nutty sweet scent that is high quality and not overpowering but simply perfect in my view, is what this delicate and gentle cleansing formula has. It's an oily cleanser that lathers up between damp palms and then can be used all over the face, neck and entire body too. In fact, when I first used this I thought it was for the body because it comes in a large container but later I found out that it is primarily meant to be for facial cleansing! It didn't matter because my body got a luxurious cleansing treat anyhow and my skin felt soothed and cleansed. So this is great for delicate skin and sensitive skin too. This says body cleansing oil but I am using it to break down the makeup on my face and it works wonders! I have spent so much money on high end cleansing balms and cleansing oils. From Tacha to Bobbi Brown, Mac, Clinique, you name it, I've tried it. I have never seen a cleansing oil this size for this price. This bottle will likely last me a year. It is a little different type of cleansing oil in that it seems to foam slightly as opposed to turning into a milk and washing off. It does not leave a residue whatsoever and also does not leave the skin feeling dry, tight, or stripped. The only con is that it does have a fragrance which I don't prefer!
