Smoke free on 2nd fan setting.Perfect size for our small back yard.Used approx 4 times (1-2 hours each time) and battery still more than half charged. Very happy with this purchase

Love this thing – works great with Japanese style binchotan with the fan on low – keeps them red hot throughout the cook. The top girll tray also offers the ability to slider back and forth to move food or adjust charcoal. The only slight neg would be that it certainly isn't completely smokeless – if that's what your looking for the solo stove is better. But for cooking, raging fires & portability this thing rocks.
