I’ve just purchased four more bottles. I love the ease of the pump bottle. I have severe eczema and apply the oil straight after my showers all over my body. The oil is rich and hydrating without leaving much of a residue. It’s affordable and I know that Biossance is a great brand to be supporting which makes me feel even better about the purchase. This oil is the only thing that works even during my break outs and have stocked up to make sure I am never out. The only other equivalence I have found in the quality of the oil is The Ordinary’s 100% squalane oil. I also love it but the 1oz bottle is just too small. I do purchase it for trips, as the dropper bottle is very convenient for traveling.

A great light weight multi tasking moisturizer

I have a sensitive, more ruddy complexion and finding an oil that doesn’t clog my pores or make my skin freak out had been a long time journey. I already really like Biossance as a line since they have truly “clean” products that have been pretty reliable. I have used the rose oil before and love it, but this is an especially great go to for a more lightweight option. I have especially loved being able to use it on my hair. I was a bit iffy on buying into these products only because I had used a very expensive brand of products for a very long time, I am 61 yrs young. I wanted to go natural and product packaging that was better for the world so I jumped in. I can’t tell you how happy that I did. I use a regimen of products, some for day and some for night and I love them because I feel that they do help with fine lines and wrinkles and they DO SOAK INTO YOUR SKIN!! Honestly, I bought this as I was looking for a body oil, and it was in a 3 for 2 promotion. I have naturally very dewy skin on my face - it's not just oily, it's shiny, like 'dewy primer'. Additional usage; my dog is a greyhound and they suffer from corns which can be prevented/soothed with moisturising the affected area so he's being getting his pawdicures with this magical oil every night for a week, when they do flare up - his paw pads are noticeably smoother and hydrated overnight. With dogs, you have to be wary, that their sense of smell is more powerful than ours, so it's best to avoid very fragranced products on them, this oil is honestly fragrance free, it stays that way (unlike like coconut oil), he's also been not licking it off, like the good boy he is. Great stuff. This oil makes my face look clear and smooth without triggering my fungal acne like traditional moisturizers. 2-step routine, I wash my face with DHC bar soap and put this on every time I shower. I've even used it as the base oil for "slugging" without issue.I have normal-dry skin and rosacea for context, and never put this on a dirty face. Also doesn't get in my eyes and irritate them like chemical sunscreens (oils).Has been great for hair and body as well--protected my hands from cold temp wounds, frequent washing, and gloves better than lotion.Used sparingly, it lasts a longer than I'd expect. I have a 4 year-old bottle (1/4 full) I misplaced somewhere--so had to buy this--that still hasn't gone rancid. Very stable oil (in this form).

I love this product but the packaging really sucks

I LOVE this oil! It never breaks me out, has only one ingredient, and is so beautifully perfectly moisturizing for me. I use it morning and night, and put my retinoid over it at night.The packing, however, is terrible. I don’t know why but over time, the pump starts leaking, and I get a gross oily puddle on my shelf. Whenever I press down, the oil comes out of the bottom of the pump, not the spout! So what I did is buy a dropper product from The Ordinary, use it up, wash out the dropper, and put my squalane in there. No mess, perfectly easy to control the quantity of product I’m getting, and travel friendly!Biossance, please spare me the effort and put this magic juice in a glass dropper bottle. Thank you!

Ok, this one is great. I've been using lotions for years on the rougher patches of skin like my elbows or knees, and they only give hydration for so long. If you use something like a body oil, it tends to work at the cost of you slipping and sliding all over the place. This will give dry patches lasting hydration and moisture all day because instead of putting a bandaid on dryness you're replenishing your skin with the natural tools it uses to fight water loss.• Locks in your skincare routine. Because Squalane is an oil, it is occlusive. That means you shouldn't be using it before any active ingredients or moisturizers. It should really be the last step of your routine, but it does a great job of locking everything in and preventing water loss. Simply do your skincare routine as normal, and if you feel like you need a boost in the dry season pat this on at the very end after your sunscreen!

I have perioral dermatitis so I get these red, dry flaky outbreaks around my mouth and nose area. It's really hard to find a product that helps, and a lot of products actually make it worse. I've tried a few products from Biossance and this one has worked the best! After one day of using it, the redness went away and the rash got better. I'll have to keep using it to see if there's more improvement over time. but I'm happy with it so far. I used the squalane + rose oil before this, and I loved it overall but it didn't help with my rash. I tried some of the creams and moisturizers too, and while I liked them, again, they didn't help with the dermatitis. So, if you're struggling with this condition, you may want to try this product! :)
