The fish is ok. The batter is light & crispy until I turn it over & it cooks in the oil which came out of the fish. The next time I put it on a rack but the same thing happened even though it was raised.
This product is excellent. If, like me, you get reactions to chemical additives, then this is the product for you. Most processed or pre-prepared foods have a cocktail of chemicals added but in this product Bird's Eye has bravely resisted that urge and instead produces a wholesome and healthy and tasty crumbed frozen fish which goes beautifully crispy on the outside when cooked.
We routinely buy for the kids- they really enjoy them. If you’re upsizing from fish fingers these are perfect. I don’t think there’s enough fish in them & recommend sealord over these for an adult portion.
This is a great staple to have in the fridge. So good with a crisp salad abd a few nice wedges! Beautiful tasty white fish. This is one of the best crumbed fish on the market.
Good taste. As are all the flavours in the range. Not my first choice anymore. Another brand seems to have a more flavoursome fish.
The outside was nice and crunchy and there was plenty of real fish inside. Added lemon was just the right amount - you could taste the lemon but not overpowering.
Delicious meal, not too greasy, yummy crumbs. I must bring to your attention one thing, not a complaint but a suggestion. Is it possible to stick the label on a flat surface of the plastic bag containing frozens. It is impossible to read what is written on scrunched label. All A1 as regards to service and delivery.
