I didn’t take a photo, but I ordered both colors both in a size 40, tan and the black. The tan ones are very very plush. They have lots of fluffy shearling inside of them. I love them! The black ones? That’s so much first of all they’re smaller a bit, which doesn’t make sense, because with the amount of shearling that is missing from these, it has very little especially at the end/heal I would think they would feel larger rather than smaller.I’m going to try another pair. I saw someone mention she bought the men’s size and she wondered why they didn’t have the women’s size well they do. I can’t even begin to tell you the number of Birkenstocks that I have! Love them! This pair not much . I’m ordering another pair. Hopefully they’re different.

I am very pleased with new Birkenstock Boston shierling in cognac.I’ve been eyeing these cozy clogs for quite sometime. This was a great gift from my son. These clogs are so comfortable and great for those cold winter days. Slip on and walk out the door.I ordered a size bigger than usual. I’m glad I did. The fur inside the clogs takes up some space so make sure you size up.

These are such lovely clogs. I have them in other colors and by experience the white shearling wears better in that as it thins out it is not obvious, as the base of the shearling is also white so it does not show. The mink color is great for fall and any “warm color” outfits. They are sized as all Bostons. Go one size up from your usual Arizona size. This review was provided as a part of an incentive program.

Love these shoes! I am currently using them for supportive slippers for wearing around the house. I need the extra support of the Birkenstock footbed. Also, the stone color is a lovely shade of Dove gray, and the shearling lining is super cozy and warm. One point I need to express is I needed to order a size larger. Originally ordered a 39 which is what I wear in a Mephisto, when I received the 39, they were snug, and the arch was slightly off. I ordered a 40 and they were a perfect fit.
I’m normally an 8 1/2 Medium, sometimes an 8, and generally a 39 in Birks. The 39 was just right here. For reference, with the Mayari style, which I love, I go with a 38, as the 39 is a bit too long. The narrow works better for me in Birks (what the box says is sometimes different than the description; regular and narrow can mean the same). These are shoes, not slippers. I’m using them as house shoes, which helps with posture and back discomfort. The lining keeps my feet warm. I can get at least 10 years out of these, so the cost is absolutely worth it.
I have had Birkenstock Boston Shearling's before; they really help my feet as well as looking great. I literally wore them out after wearing them continuously for about four years. Unfortunately when I bought a new pair at a great price from Flannels, I didn't look properly at description (as I knew what they were like) and so didn't realise they were narrow fit. I've had to return them. Flannels have been great about it, fantastic customer service, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these shoes - just give yourself time to wear them in.
This is the first review I have written on Very.I love Birkenstock sandals so i decided to treat myself to these fur lined Cloggs for winter. They are of the high Birkenstock quality, very comfortable - like wearing slippers, true to size and look great. However! there is 1 problem; the black dye comes off of the inside fur, so as I wore them without socks, the soles of my feet are now black and so are my toenails and it will not come off. Obviously not a good look, I wouldn't have expected this from Birkenstocks and I am very disappointed that I now can't wear them without socks.
Let me start by saying that I LOVE Birkenstocks — or at least, I’ve historically loved Birks. I have many pairs of their sandals, and I am solidly a size 37 in all — we’re talking Cinderella, perfect fit, foot nirvana.I ordered these in an 37 without a second thought and eagerly awaited the arrival of what I thought would be the perfect winter Birk. Cue the disappointment.First, the color is off — or my expectations were. I expected them to be similar to chestnut Uggs. Not. Even. Close. And the suede itself is very rough and edgy. But onto the fit. These are not my glass slippers of yore. These are stiff, clunky, narrow and feel incredibly cheap. I have flat, narrow feet so for a shoe to be narrow for me, it’s REALLY narrow. And the sole just didn’t have that ... MoreLet me start by saying that I LOVE Birkenstocks — or at least, I’ve historically loved Birks. And the sole just didn’t have that hug-your-foot feeling that my other Birks had right out of the box — even the lower end waterproof Birks I bought for the beach feel more substantial. These shoes were a miss for me overall — they just didn’t fit correctly. And if this was a blindfolded fit test, I never would have guessed they were Birks. I’m hoping these issues are limited to the shearling/clog versions and not a sign of what’s to come with the summer sandals.
After ordering four pairs of the same shoes, I figured out the sizing and pass this along as a suggestion. I am between a 9.5 and 10 and often order a 10. That is a 41 in EU size. The 41 narrow that REI sells for women is perfect for no socks. If you want to wear socks, like I do in the winter, the 41 regular/wide is perfect. Same length but a little more room for socks. Going up to the 42 narrow allows room for socks but the molded footbed is really too long. Please REI—bring back the regular/wide option for women so we can wear socks!
I have the Gizah sandals in 39 regular width but i’m usually a size 9. Luckily I ordered the 40 in these and they fit perfectly…possibly a bit snug if I add socks. Length was just right…maybe the shearling lining reduces the space a bit. These clogs are very soft and comfortable and I look forward to wearing them. Grey color is great. I waterproofed them with a spray made for suede before wearing.I was only upset about the length of time & lack of updates regarding shipping. Bloomingdales shipped them all the way from California(I’m on the East coast), but they were well packed and in perfect condition. Mine were not on sale.
