Nothing beats the original Birkenstock.I have tried another brand with a similar footbed Ccilo which only lasted 1 year . Had them replaced and same thing happened the cork split and pieces of tread came off.Birkenstocks have lasted me for years and have had a few pairs over the last 15years.It's best to stick with quality.

I bought Gizeh Silver in hopes that it would support my right foot after surgery. The sizing is perfect and I like the look of them. My other foot slips slightly off centre at the back so I have to consciously adjust.

A great sandal, well made and extremely comfortable. No rubbing was caused on the first wear, they did feel hard on the sole at first but once I got used to them then I loved them. They are shaped to your foot and fit like a glove. Would definitely buy a second pair. I paid full price, missed the discounted price by a day! Only me

I am still breaking in these Birkenstocks, however they are already comfortable after only a couple of wears - (traditionally Birkenstocks need a couple of wears to feel like you're walking on clouds, I'm told). They look good and feel good and importantly my foot feels very supported. Simple. A good buy.I would like to make mention of the excellent service I received from 'Styletread'. I had to exchange the original pair I received as they did not feel right. I spoke with Kimberley from Customer Care at Styletread. She was friendly, polite and courteous and eager to help me with the process. I sent my original pair back and 2 days later received the replacement. Well done to Styletread.
The leather straps are incredibly hard and gave me tendinitis. Treatment with neatsfoot oil softened them and they are now ok. I’ve never had this problem before despite having had around 6 pairs in the past.
Great comfy shoes. Definitely recommend and worth the money.
Birkenstocks are for comfort rather than glamour but this soft silver tone is the closest to evening wear as Birkenstocks are going to get! I feel comfortable wearing them anywhere
This is my second pair of Birkenstocks. I wore my last pair every day of summer last year and they still look brand new. The best investment you can make and they not only look good and go with everything, but they are good for your foot too. My Physio said these were the best shoes for my feet as I've had a few problems with plantar fasciitis, corns
