Very comfortable, no issues after the first wear.Much lighter than I expected. They look quite chunky online and I expected them to be to quite heavy. They are extremely lightweight.Narrow fit so they stay on nicely and look fab with pretty much everything (short, culottes, wide trousers and dresses!)I bought size 8 and received 7.5, which is size 41.Size 41 is in fact my size so no complaints from me here but I thought this info could be useful to others.

I have 2 pair of these (black and Toffee brown). These are second only to my Birkenstock Gizehs as my go-to sandals. The one strap is nice and cool. Sort of a more stylish pool slide. They can be worn all day. One of the best features is that the loose fit keeps the soles away from the bottom of your feet while sitting, etc so your feet stay cool and dry. This also makes them very floppy compared to other Birks. They also pop quite loudly as you walk. This quiets down as the shoes get broken in and soften, but you notice it in very quiet places. You also have to get used to the exercise your feet get in these as the style forces your toes to flex and grip and then relax as you walk. Gizehs do this too, but are a more secure fit. I bought these online from Office as they offered the cheapest price. Chose delivery to store and they arrived quicker than expected. Wore them to Turkey and back and they were so comfortable! I have flat feet so struggle to find comfortable footwear. These are ace!

Very comfortable sandals, I've used the Birkenstock sizing tool to make sure I choose the right size. It was recommended I size down and they fit perfectly. They mould to your feet and are super comfortable around the house and out. Can be dressed up and down easily. I've ordered them in Birko black, vegan alternative to leather.The only thing to watch out for is that they aren't particularly wide - my feet are on the slightly narrower side and I'm using the widest hole.
Honestly, I wouldn’t have bought them if I knew they were made with faux leather. But the feel is the same as real leather. I hope they perform as well. Other than that, I love the slim look but with great arch support. They look good and support the foot well. Happy with the purchase. I bought them at the Rack store.

I’ve recently bought two pairs of Birkenstocks and I think I’m hooked. I only like certain styles and the Madrid is one of them. They fit great and will go with everything. I don’t find them hard to walk in at all. They feel much more supportive than most other sandals or flip flops I typically wear in warmer months. I already have my next pair picked out!
I love these sandals! However, Nordstrom Rack placed the price sticker on the tan leather and I couldn’t get the sticky part off. It was annoying to step on. So I returned them and bought them from a different store.
These run true to size for me -41 [size 10]. These are the narrow width footbeds but are okay since my bunion surgeries my feet are narrower. These are sl. dressier than the other styles that I own. I worried that these wouldn't feel secure on my feet but they are. The brown is just as pictured. I think they are calling them dark brown but they are not dark.
Bought my regular size 8- 39 EU. This par is not comfortable and hard to walk without letting the entire neighborhood know that you are wearing them, they are so noisy! They run huge for narrow feet, plus mine came with a stain on the letter and some discoloration. I will give these away.
