Bissell 14051 Oxy Boost Carpet Cleaning Formula Enhancer

I have seen alot of posts where the smell becomes worse after shampooing carpet. That is because the pet urine did not just stain the carpets, but the padding and possibly the subfloor beneath. Also, when shampooing carpet, these stained pads are getting wet as well, allowing the smell to actually increase. If this is the case, you can have a professional do a.proper urine clean, which will clean the pad as well. Or you may have to replace the pad.

I am actually using this with my Hoover carpet cleaner but I don’t think it makes a difference. I am using the bissel pet and oder stain remover fluid plus the oxy booster and they work great together. I have my dogs and foster dogs so accidents do happen. With this cleanser combination I can be sure that stains and more importantly odor is eliminated. It’s important to ensure the dogs will not have an accident at the same spot over and over. If you have a dog and carpet get a carpet cleaner like bissel it makes such a difference.

7 Applications (entire bottle) couldn't remove stain

My berber carpet had average traffic discoloration from age. I deep cleaned the entire carpet using a brand new Proheat 2x Revolution Pet Upright. There was one 2'x2' area where a computer chair's wheels had made a darker stain ring in the carpet. I literally went over the area 7 days in a row, each time with a new tank of hot water, cleaning solution, and boost additive. A very expensive cleaning project to remove a 2'x2' discoloration. Unsuccessfully I might add, as neither the solution nor the boost are cheap. Each time I went over the area several times, emptying the entire tank over a 10 minute period and spending about 60 minutes each time moving at a sloths pace extracting every drop of water back out of the carpet. Excellent Stuff!

I have extremely old carpet, like in the 18 year category and it wasn't high end carpet to begin with. I had just been using "deep cleaning" carpet cleaner trying my best to bring back some of the luster of the old carpet. While some of the stains eventually came up with just regular cleaner, the carpet just was left like it was before I cleaned it, except it smelled better for a little while.Now, insert Oxy Boost. Fantastic product

Excellent product. Lifts heavy stains and odours with ease. I was blown away by how much difference just one going over had. It's fantastic strength of eliminating stains and odours even and especially combined with any other Bissell cleaning solution is just astonishing.

Great Product for stubborn stains

I read all the reviews and was told by the store attendant that this was a great product and I think it did help to lift the stubborn stains I had on my carpets and lounge and car seats. The stains are gone and my carpets lounge and car seats look and smell fresh and clean. So I totally recommend Oxyboost and will continue to use it with every clean. A bit pricey but you only need a capfull.

First off I won a free bottle of this from bissell which was awesome! I've never won anything before. I have a toddler, a pug and a husband who is a garbage man. I am constantly cleaning my carpets. I have a bissell lift off pro pet machine. I added this Prevent Boost to my machine along with the bissell professional soap. I had a few dark spots/swirls in my carpet and they came right out. The best thing is my carpet looks brighter/cleaner than ever before. It did also take out a stubborn grape fruit juice stain I had in the carpet.I was very curious to see how well it "repelled" whatever spilt in the carpet. I grabbed a juice box and poured some juice onto my carpet about 3 days after I cleaned it. The juice did not soak in it just laid on top of the carpet. The Best Stain Remover

This stain remover is excellent! It worked on old and new stains without using the Bissell Little Green Machine. Just pour a little Boost fluid on the stain so it is totally covered and moistened and let it sit. Blot up excess liquid after stain fades. For tougher and darker stains, scrub with a clean cloth and see the cloth absorb the darkened fluid. Repeated applications will gradually fade very stubborn stains on upholstery and carpeting. This product reduced rust colored water stains on an old linen lamp shade that were made years ago by a leaking A/C wall vent. Allow the product to dry on fabric between each application. The product does not fade colors or eat fabric. You may notice a lighter spot in carpeting due to heavy dirt embedded in the carpet ... MoreThis stain remover is excellent! The Prevent Boost product produced superior results.

I received a bottle of Prevent Boost in from Bissell and used it in conjunction with regular rug cleaning at my mother's house. The home has a light colored carpet installed in all rooms except the kitchen and bathroom and the carpet has experienced years of neglect.Since I had previously instituted a program of cleaning the carpets with a Bissell Deep Clean Essentials machine every two to three months, I couldn't believe what an improvement Prevent Boost provided. somehow made things worse

I have a relatively low pile cream rug that on of my pups had peed over. I spot cleaned it with an upright machine i already had and it seemed to work great. We then also got it professionally cleaned between moves. There were a couple of areas that had gotten a little dingy and still smelled very faintly of pet urine, so when i saw this, i thought it would be perfect. I followed the instructions and used it with an upright carpet shampooer. while the rug looks fairly clean, this solution somehow lifted up all of the stale urine smell and made it more potent. For days the room this was in smelled like super potent dog pee. I went over it again without the oxy boost solution, and it was a bit better.
