After reading some fantastic reviews I purchased my Bisselle power fresh delux steam mop. The mop works fine. It’s just not as easy as it’s made sound. It’s difficult to get into corners. You need to use the trigger constantly, using your finger rather than being able to just turn on the steam. The fresh discs are lovely, although not readily available to purchase locally. Instructions say not to use cleaning products on the mop pads. However after the first use they are marked and need to be soaked to clean. Not my favourite purchase.

I have had three to six dogs in the house for the last thirty years, some being rescue fosters. I have used sponge mops, ones that you stick the cloth on, down on hands and knees and all have been hopeless apart from the hands and knees method. At seventy I am not so keen on that so this steam floor cleaner is just wonderful. I even used it on a sisal rug, just pulling it one way as the cloth head does not like that surface and will come off. It really revived the rug and took off some stains. We have tiling throughout the house and the Bissell was light and easy to use for an older person.

I did heaps of research on steam mops and this one came up tops every time. I have a large tiled floor and it does a brilliant job. It can get a little sore holding the trigger down but it hands down beats mopping any day! I’m really happy I purchased this steam mop and should have done it ages ago.

Cannot believe I have been mopping floors all this time! The powerfresh deluxe is a beast! Brings all my floors up to looking brand new, cleaning is now so much easier, I put a few drops of essential oil on the microfibre mop pad to leave my home smelling fresh. Sturdy build, easy to use, Bissell has done a good job with this one! Will never to go back to a mop and bucket again!
I was impressed with the steam mop and scrubbing brush when a friend showed me how it lifted the dirt from her wood look alike grained floor. I have porcelain tiles which have a textured finish so my husband wouldn't slip as he is on crutches. It lifted the dirt and got rid of the spill marks which an ordinary mop wouldn't lift.. My neighbour bought this model after I demonstrated it on her tiled floor. She noticed how much cleaner the grouting looked.
Very happy with the performance of this cleaner. Although we thought our floors were kept clean with our other mop, the Bissell gets them much cleaner. It is easy to use. Our only slight criticism is that as we are tall, the handle isn’t quite long enough for us, so we do feel it in our backs a bit after using it. Other than this, we are quite satisfied with this product.

Just do yourself a favour and buy a decent one if the budget allows. Yes, it’s not the cheapest but I’ve probably bought the same value in cheap ones that I’ve thrown out over the last 10 years. This Bissell mop leaves your floors steamed, cleaned and almost immediately dry, which is how it’s supposed to be. It stands up on it’s own, doesn’t drip all over the floor or leave it overly wet and is very manoeuvrable. It comes with 2 washable pads, one normal and one scrubby for extra grime. Gone are the days of wet mops. This steam mop is very easy to use for everyday cleaning but it is also great for reaching stubborn dirt in the corner using the brush option. What I love about it is easy storage, it comes with scented disks for that fragrance while mopping, also comes with 2 rugs which are also available to purchase separately. Dries quickly so it’s fantastic if you have kids always running around while cleaning.
This is the third steam mop I have bought. So happy I did. It cleans my tiled floors very well, the Spot boost brush really does remove hard to clean messes on my kitchen floor with minimal effort. I used to have to mop the same area five or six times to get it clean, now three at the most with the Bissell. This mop maneuvers easily into hard to reach spaces due to it's low profile, unlike the previous brands I have purchased. The only drawback is that I wish they had included more than one 'scrubby mop head' with the purchase so that I can mop all of our tiled floors in one day, rather than having to wash the one mop head so that it's clean enough to finish the rest of our tiled floors. Otherwise, great buy!
I love, love , love this product. I cannot believe that I suffered with a mop and bucket for so long. Easy to assemble, quick to start, leaves my hard wood floors sparkling. I was a bit skeptical not using any chemicals but it does the job well. You would definitely use this product more often than the mop/bucket.
