The Black & Decker Dustbuster has a narrow dust collection opening. No power bracket so the power supply lead has to be connected manually after every use. There is also a fold out brush tool which has become dislodged more than once whilst using the Dustbuster. There is a flimsy filter which has to be cleaned after every use.

This is my second Dustbuster, and I hope a step up from my previous $40 one. Suction is good, but once youve tried out the extra power option, normal power does seem a little weak. Drawbacks for me so far, are that the power buttons are too easy to trip from on to off without meaning to. Also, the exhaust fan at the bottom of the unit has an annoying habit of blowing debris outwards, depending on your vacuum angle. This means that you can find dust blown back into an area youve just covered, which is annoying. It also means the body of the machine gets very dirty quickly from exhaust fan dust. Also not so cool! pleased with my purchase, 15 minute battery life is enough for small jobs around the house/vacuuming the car. Only thing is I didn't receive the stand which was supposed to come in the box. If the stand was included I would give 5 stars for this product. Good guys difficult to contact so gave up trying to contact to advise regarding the missing stand.

Excellent little unit with a decent extendable snout, good for vacuuming the car. Plenty of power.Only downside is the charging plug is inserted upside down into the handle, counterintuitive. The earlier ones had the plug socket in the handle the right way.. why any designer would have changed it is wired. But this is a very minor grumble.
As you can see my anticipation towards this product was low. Having brought 3 devices with no luck We decided to use strore reward. Wrong Yep shouldn't gone rogue! Stay where you know...may cost you a few extra &&& on product BUT it is definitely savings out of the pocket. One product fell apart all the time ( on-line....never again) onesucked if you picked up lint for it, the other had lights... green, yellow & red. But little Suction. Turned on B&B first go... job done. We even read all the instructions book on this one. It still worked. You Good Guys work too.Took ua a long time to become total exclusive customers. You all just WORK.
This little vacuum is powerful and the extendible nozzle makes it easy to reach the ground. Have a sore knee at the moment and so bought it as easier than using my larger regular vacuum cleaner. So great for picking up a few crumbs in the kitchen and bits and pieces around the house. Looks great for vacuuming the car too but havent tried that yet. Worth every cent!
Portable and very powerful little vacuum, compared to a more bulky but less suction power vacuum that we once had. It has 2 modes normal and high with a press of one button. The one and only downside of it is you need to increase the vacuum power to the higher mode before turning it off. No switch to toggle. But considering how effective the suction power is and greatly meet our needs, it has been no issue at all. Super glad we made this purchase. Great choice!
I bought this as a replacement for the pivot model which wouldn’t charge after 3 years. The item has a booster mode which is helpful for difficult areas. I use this primarily in my car as I do some ridesharing work. It doesn’t fit as well as the pivot model but that’s a minor problem. I’m still waiting to see how the battery life compares to the pivot model, but so far so good.
This is a powerful handheld vacuum. The connected brush is great, especially for the top of skirting boards, picture frames, etc. the expandable nozzle is great too. So far, the vacuum time is lasting longer than I expected. For example I did all skirting boards and door frames without needing to recharge, for a three bedroom, three bathroom house and hallway. I rated 4 stars because its loud and if you are vacuuming fine/light things like confetti, the exhaust fan is on the side and its blows items away, spreading mess and making it longer to get the job done. I think thats why stick vacuums are popular - the motor and fan is a distance away from where you are actually vacuuming.
It's the best hand held one as its quite powerful, comes in two modes of suction (normal and max) and does a job like Dysons. Battery is long lasting and infact goes on for a few days. You can clean your car two to three times with it in one charge. Always though Dyson was better but after using this, I now believe dyson definitely has got a firm competitor out there plus the price obviously knocks it out too.
