This is the best thing in my garden shed at the moment, I’m just loving it. It’s so easy to use it is light to hold which is especially necessary for a woman who is in her 50’s and has weak arms. The battery lasted for over 2 hours and the string didn’t break which was totally amazing to me. My son has used it in his yard and says the same thing he just loves it. It makes gardening so much easier and well worth the money spent. Thank you Mitre ten for bringing us such a great product at such a reasonable price.

Line trimmer lasted about a year then would no longer start.Weas replaced and about a year later when out of the 2 year warranty it had the same issue. This is with it being used around 3 times a month and not running the battery down. They were happy to say not their problem as it was out of the 2 years from original purchase date but don't expect it to last more than a year, hardly a reasonable life.

I have a corded version of this which is 8 years old (Black & Decker 3-in-1 Lawn Mower, String Trimmer and Edger.). Although it still works perfectly, I got tired of the inconvenience of having a corded unit hence I bought this cordless version.This cordless unit also fits perfectly into my old unit’s mower plate. I am super super happy!! This unit is light to use, easy & compact to store, the handle is adjustable, the stick is adjustable in length and the angle of the unit is also adjustable. The trimmer wheel makes edge trimming super easy & neat, too. If you have a small lawn, this unit can do the mowing, edging & trimming , all 3 jobs in one ! Thank you Black & Decker and Mitre 10 for stocking this amazing product. Highly recommended :)

Bought this about 6 months ago and thrashed the heck out of it. Takes a bit to figure out which way the string cuts and how to position the cutter, but once you get the hang of it its all good. Use it at full power to cut them straight edges (but batteries run flat faster), luckily i have 3 including a 5.0ah. Takes a bit of effort to get the edges and yard into shape, but once tidied up, this machine makes it easy to maintain your edges
After being frustrated with the inconsistency of my petrol weed eater, I reluctantly made the switch to electric. Decided upon Black and Decker as I already have two batteries so figured power was a non issue.Pleasantly surprised with the ability of this wee thing!! Cut through long grass and made it most of the way around my large property on what was definitely not a full charge (used an exisiting battery).The wheel is a nice touch when edging - yes it only has cord out one side but it didn’t seem to make a difference which was good!Haven’t used the turbo feature yet - eco tidied up my well overdue lawn.
Awesome!! Does everything it says it does. Good power and the adjustable carry handle is very handy, particularly when you store it.Battery lasted for a while (it is supplied with a 2 AMP one) and the other batteries I have fit no problems.I purchased this to replace the cheaper model I had purchased about 5 years ago. Black and Decker are good value for money and this one is certainly an upgrade.
I bought this about 5 months ago. It’s great for maintaining edges and has the turbo feature for extra cutting power. Don’t expect it to break ground or heavily large overgrown areas, if you do you need to understand it’s limits before buying and reviewing. Recommend as it light, great for anyone who can’t hold a heavy petrol trimmer for long
Much lighter than the petrol one. So enjoy doing the edge with it. No need to ask my husband to start the machine for me anymore. First time using it, take a couple charges to finish the job as it’s really long overdue job, but now just for maintenance, battery will well last for a good size yard edge.
Had for about a year now, does good job of doing the edges of out small section. The rotatable head with wheel for doing edges was the main feature that attracted me to this product & it hasn't disappointed.I've tackled some quite long grass & weeds with this, rather that attack from the bottom, lower the machine down into the grass & it makes easy work of it.Pretty happy with my purchase
Tried using for two months then returned. Heard the guys in the shop telling another couple that the online reviews aren’t accurate. Wish I had read them myself before purchasing because I can confirm the low rating is deserved. This thing chews through line really fast. If u cut anything thicker than the lightest of grasses with it then it chews the line up and the auto feed mechanism means you’re refilling the spool about every 15 minutes! Worse still, they don’t seem to have the calculation right for where the guide wheel is. I don’t know how they can muck that up but if you’re running it along a concrete edge of your grass patch then it is constantly cutting the line and feeding my out due to the line hitting on the ground.
