First time router purchase, never used one before, Easy set up, but would have been good to know it didn’t come with router bits… that required another purchase the next day. Happy with the outcome and a nice entry tool.

Another great value machine from Black & Decker, well built and plenty of power.
First time using a router and was expecting a user guide to actually guide me through the steps. Not the case. I don't think I have ever seen a worse user guide/manual before.On the other hand the tool is pretty good value for money and does the job well.
I bought the router for two purposes - household DIY and making a start in guitar tech work.The router is great for DIY jobs - currently building a walk in wardrobe unit and it has performed very well in making drawers (dado to slide in drawer bottoms).Unfortunately the spring pressure is a bit high for more precision work - it can be a bit tough to accurately set intermediate depths as you work down to the depth stop.Aside from that, great size, it feels like a decent tool. The accessories work well and overall it's a decently priced machine for the home workshop.
As described, good and reliable performance. The only thing is that, due to the plastic safety shields, change of router bits is not that easy.

I need a router copy cut a large amount of heavy acrylic sheet.My initial thoughts were that this would not survive my job.But after inspecting one in store I was surprised that this $110.00 appeared to be well built.It did my job easily and I’m sure it will continue to prove to be really durable.You can’t go wrong at this price!
does what it says on the box - however could have been a bit clearer on the router bit collet sizes - it only does the small sizes 6mm / 6.35mm / 8mm (and equivalent inch sizes)
