Glove fit well following the recommended size chart. Definitely good quality and seems durable, but still thin enough for good dexterity. Only issue I have is with overall comfort with these gloves, they have pretty rigid seams which protrude from the inside of the glove. Really not very comfortable with seams running in between every finger. Hopefully they will soften with use, will keep and still use!

Great gloves - love that they’re white so your hands don’t get cooked in them from the sun.Useful to reinforce around the fingers with tape if you’re jamming in stuff where these areas are going to get a bit of abuse as they do tear up here if you’re not careful.I bought the XL after trying a buddies. The size chart recommended a L for my hand size - but my fat knuckles found the XL tight for getting the gloves on and off so I’m pleased I went with the XL. Even with thin wrists the XL can be tightened enough to give a good secure fit.

I really like these gloves and their design. I have been using the OR crack gloves for a while, and the BD gloves seem to hold up much better. I also love that they look like tape gloves. I do have an issue with the sizing… Purchased a large, which I think would typically be fine for my hands, but I noticed that the fingers are very tight. I do not have large sausage fingers, and I felt the circulation being cut from them after a little bit of use. I upgraded to the XL Glove, and they do fit better, but the fingers are still very tight! I hope BD fixes the finger loop issue for their next glove. Otherwise I would give these crack gloves five stars.

Black Diamond's Crack Gloves are the next best thing to taping up. The texture on the back of the gloves grips the rock wonderfully but doesn't add unnecessary bulk. The addition of the thumb (something which many crack gloves lack) has saved my skin on numerous occasions. The only downside to this glove is durability, a limitation shared by many gloves on the market. The stitching around the thumb tends to come undone, something I've seen on both my own gloves and others, but can be resewn with minimal expertise.
I actually bought these gloves to help protect my skin, as i bruise and bleed very easily. They work like a charm (so far). I chose the XS size as I have smaller hands. They were a bit tight, but after a few climbs they've loosened up a bit. I do wish the strap was a bit longer, since it's only attaching on around 0.5cm of velcro to accommodate my width. Furthermore, I wish the bottom palm area had a bit more clearance (i am finding it does get in the way slightly of my climbing). Taking them off can be a challenge. Another concern is longevity and durability. I've used them a handful of times, but they already look worn. Here's hoping they just look worn, and actually are durable. They are still in good shape after six months of using them a few times a month.I did struggle with sizing---after measuring my hand, per the size chart I originally purchased a size Small, but they felt very tight and restrictive, so I upgraded to a Medium which felt much better though maybe a little loose. A friend with similarly sized hands also liked the fit of the Medium better, and a friend with larger hands also found he had to upsize from his measured size for comfort. I'm gym training for an outdoor crack climbing trip and debated whether to use tape or these gloves. I went the gloves and they have been worth it. A roll of tape is cheaper in the short run, but the convenience and performance of the gloves has me convinced this was a good buy. They were just slightly too small at first, and the velcro wrist strap did not stay fastened--I had to use my teeth to refasten it several times during the first day of usage. By day two they must have stretched out slightly in the wrist because I had no issues. Comfortable, convenient, and good performance so far.Note: I have only used these indoors. YMMV.

I studied both the "Size Guide/Size Chart" and the PDF "Find your Size" chart and saw with dismay that their measurements did not correspond to those of the three-colored pictograph shown on the PDF. I hopefully placed an order, gambled on a size M, and lost. Just so you know, my middle fingertip to first wrist crease measurement is 7.5 inches - for both hands. The size M finger loops are tight, the thumb barrel fit reminded me instantly of one reviewer's reference to a Chinese finger puzzle (hint: to escape use old cyclist trick and grab glove at the wrist and pull it off inside out) and I was barely able to attach the velcro closure around my wrist - which are slender. I ended up having to buy these 3 times to get a pair that fits. I have regular, maybe smallish hands for my size. According to the sizing chart I should be a medium, sounds about right so I order a medium. Wrong! I could barely get my fingers in the holes, circulation being cut off and couldn’t strap the the Velcro around my wrist. So I return them and order a large. Somehow the large fits almost identical to the medium! Barely any difference. So I return those and order XL. Now the XL is a little loose but at least my fingers aren’t turning blue. I don’t get it. I think the factory is messing these up. I have a friend with much larger hands than I and his size large are bigger than the ones I got. He’s had his for a while though. Seems to be no consistency.
