It's held up super well and is comfortable for climbing in the gym and in the mountains. With other harness, it either squeezes too tight or doesn't maneuver on your hips right when you take a fall, but I'm impressed how much this one still stays comfortable and lets you wiggle around a bit. I would recommend this to both beginners or experts. It also has plenty of gear loops, which is always a plus on harnesses, especially when you're trying to hit up some multi pitches.

I do sport and trad climbing, and this harness has been my go-to harness for the last few years. It has a wide waist loop which provides great comfort when sitting on gear. The leg loops are also very wide and don't make my thighs feel like they are suffocating. There is enough space for my legs and waist to sit comfortably for an extended period of time. Taking whips in this harness is also great, as it distributes your weight from a fall evenly and doesn't ride up or hurt when taking a big fall. The gear loops are also spacious for a bunch of gear while trad climbing. Each harness i've had has lasted several years and I will continue to buy these when I feel like I need to retire old ones. I'm 140 lbs, 5'7" with a fit build and get a size Medium.

Since I wasn’t able to find any stores in my area that carried climbing harnesses, I had to rely on measurement charts alone to find one that fit. Considering that I sometimes fall in between sizes—and this was my first time purchasing a harness—the inability to try them on in person was not ideal. Fortunately, the Black Diamond Momentum fit great so my search ended there. I’ve only used it once so far at in indoor gym, but I have zero complaints. I find it easier to use and more comfortable than the rentals I’ve used up until now. If it helps anyone, my waist and hip measurements (slightly rounded up) are 27” and 38”, and I purchased a size small.

I've got big hips and a small waist so it can be very annoying finding harnesses that are both comfortable to put on and sufficiently adjustable. This covered both those fronts perfectly. I'm also a fan of the color and the way the straps tighten. I mainly use this harness indoors, and it does well. Only issue is I'm having some minimal wear on the waist strap webbing. Great for the price! Just keep an eye on the waist strap if you put it through its paces!
Bought this XS for my 7 year old daughter who is medium size with fairly lean legs. Her youth BD harness will be a bit too snug in the next 6 months and this harness likely will be a bit too big until then. The adjustable leg harness were sold out or else I would have gotten one of those.Seems like a durable good all around harness for anyone in that size range. The gear loops would be too small for my taste if used for trad climbing, but great for sport, TR or gym climbing.
I bought this over a month ago and have had nothing but good experiences with this harness. I am a new climber and was very unsure about how this would work. I tried it on and immediately noticed how comfortable it was. I loved the thigh strap cushions and felt very secure in them. I have thick thighs from years of athletics but these fit nicely! The waist strap is also very comfortable where it hits on the body. The loops around this harness are not only useful but surprisingly never in my way. I’ve rented harnesses where I have caught myself on them, this is not the case with this one! I bought this harness since I knew I wanted to top rope. Luckily the employee at REI helped me pick this out. I tried it on and have been using it ever since. I love how it fits and there are so many gear loops that I can keep my gear and chalk bag separate. This is a good first harness, and since harnesses are so durable, I won't have to buy a new one for a while. I climb about 2-3x a week and have had no issues with this. Highly recommend.
This was one of my first harnesses. It lasted for a while until I decided to beat it up in some canyon without seat protection. Considering it’s not a canyoneering harness it did pretty well! I like the location and size of the gear loops. The locking measure is simple. The only thing that would of been nice is removable legs loops but for the price point was a great overall harness. I used it for both climbing and canyoneering.
This is the second one I've bought because this harness is so very comfortable. The padding is amazing and I love the plastic adjustable leg loops instead of metal buckles for comfort. The color is as pictured. The gear loops are slightly bigger than the old model, but they are still a little small if you are carrying a big rack, but I've used it for trad and it can still work. I've only been uncomforatble in it when sitting in a hanging belay for long periods of time, but that was the old model. I'm not sure if the back padding is slightly bigger on this harness or not. Overall, it is incredibly comfortable and my favorite harness.
The harness is comfortable, I use it in the gym and have started to take it outside, it works fine for both. I do notice the leg straps like to get spun around in my bag more than my last harness requiring more attention when getting it on, but it's not a dealbreaker. However, the waist is super huge for the thigh sizes, or at least it's sized for someone with a very "rectangular" shape. I'm a size 12, the L fits my thighs but I would like to cinch the waist another inch or two. I'm prevented by the one-sided waist belt. Would have preferred a two-sided adjustment like my older harness.
