At this point you know the deal with these ATEM switchers from Blackmagic Design. Now with 4 independent outputs, SDI interconnectivity, and some nice enhancements to the previous Extreme ISO. This thing is well built and delivers on all of the promised functionality, and nothing else on the market can touch the power, flexibility, small form factor, and ease of use.

We have been waiting on the SDI upgrade since I purchased my first ATEM mini a few years back and boy did they deliver! Excellent value for the price.
This ATEM SDI has made it easy to stream. The software works great as well.
I bought this to replace the HDMI version and both are great! So much power in such a small and affordable package. Well done Blackmagic!
This version is worth it over the less expensive ATEM options for the added inputs and outputs, both with video feeds and USB. I wish Blackmagic would let you control the bit rates of the iso feeds or even choose which ones you want to record, but I'm probably asking too much for the price. It's still a great solution without getting into the more expensive tricasters or similar consoles. Like anything with Blackmagic though, be prepared to buy additional stuff depending on what your production needs are. Also, test the console out the day you get it as they sometimes ship out defective units.
After struggling with HDMI switchers, this new all-SDI switcher by Blackmagic Design is just awesome!!!
I have only once not had a great experience with Videopro and that was when the fella in the shop couldn't be bothered will selling something. Every other experience has been outstsanding.
As great as the ATEM unit is the lack of SDI inputs has always been a major shortcoming. HDMI cables are just too fragile for the kind of work. We are doing with these units. So when this SDI only unit was released, it was heaven. So far it has performed perfectly. It has dramatically lowered the cable complexity I have been dealing with. It would be nice to have one HDMI output for monitors but that's a small request.
