All I can say is "Wow!" I ordered this item fully prepared to be disappointed--but exactly the opposite emotion is my feeling. It is much louder than I expected and the reverbs are lush without being "effecty." The bluetooth feature is another surprise.

Certainly lives up to reviews. Very controllable sound both in volume and in tone. Still learning to master the range of its functions. Really pleased so far.

Brought on the back of Blackstar's recent £100 discount promotion that made it good value for money. Nice little amp for an acoustic guitarist & vocalist. Grab & go for a small pub / gig venue as compact & light. Very good input & out put options, with separate reverb control for guitar & vocals.

AMAZING ACOUSTIC AMPLIFIER!!!!!

I've been a professional acoustic soloist for 12 years and the Blackstar Sonnet 120 is the perfect amp for small to medium size gigs. The external footswitch is necessary for the mute function but well worth it. The speaker stand adapter, along with the unusually high headroom, makes placing the amp extremely easy, even in a small space. The bass response is amazing. Very strong low end without the 'hum inducing boom'. When you dial in your sound on the Sonnet, you can clearly hear the effect of each knob. In other words, each knob does it's job obviously yet evenly. The guitar sound thru the Sonnet is more natural than any other amp I've tried. (I've been using the Fishman Artist and Performer for the past 4 years. Very, very good amplifiers.) Excellent Acoustic Reproduction

I have a couple of electro acoustics and they sound so-so through my regular guitar amp so I decided to give this a shot after reading several positive reviews - the gist of it being that this is more aligned to the frequency range found in acoustic guitars I am really pleased with it - the sound reproduction is excellent and truly replicates the acoustic tones - much better than a regular guitar amp designed for solid body guitars with single coil/humbucker pickups

Good sounding acoustic amp

I bought the amp as the depth of sound was good compared to other amps I tried. Light weight and compact but with good sound volume for size. Also bluetooth and XLR output make it very usable .thanks Blackstar

Ideal for soloist in small venue

Bought a Sonnet 60 second hand and been using it to play (and sing) in a wine bar. It's ideal for a small venue. Acoustic guitar sounds fantastic and it handles vocals with ease. Plenty of volume for a small pub or bar. Seems solid enough but can't comment on its long term reliability - although it's much better built than the smaller 30 watt acoustic amp (which I bought and returned from another seller as it was plasticy and the plastic was cracked in several places). Unusually for a music product the advertising claims seem to me to be borne out.

Just as Advertised

I wanted a dedicated acoustic amp for my acoustic guitars that provides an authentic sound. I have played through it an Ovation Folklore, Balladeer, Country Artist (nylon), and Legend(12 string). My daughter heard me play and said, "it sounded just like the guitar only louder." I also am getting the best sound I ever have from my Gibson ES359! The Bluetooth feature is awesome.

As usual always great service from Alden Debee at Sweetwater! This little practice amp Blackstar Sonnet 60 is a great amp. The clarity is excellent and has a lot of power for a smaller amp. It can be used for smaller venues easily. It's a great choice.
