This is an extra special expression of the already best bourbon out there. Coming in at 103 proof this has a richer body with a smoother finish. Wooden Cork is fantastic when it comes to availability, service, & delivery of this and any of their amazing products. Highly recommend & will definitely be back for more.

For me it starts out oak forward then moves into cherries, vanilla and honey. A very long finish that trails off into a peppery, spicy finish. Great pour at an acceptable price since I’ll never find it on the shelf.

What needs to be said? It is Blanton’s high test. It’s pretty hard to say anything but excellent. The only drawback is the cost. Unfortunately, nothing can be done to fix the cost. The demand is so high around the world for great bourbon. You want to play you must pay. Anyone who likes bourbon should definitely try Blanton’s. It is game changing.

This bourbon was a gift to a dear friend. He couldn't stop talking about how well the bottle of bourbon was so carefully wrapped when he received it. The bourbon was exemplary, of course. However, it's all about the presentation.
This is a gift, so I can’t comment on the actual drink. However, I will say that I have never seen anything packaged so safely. The box was small but still able to accommodate large bubble wrap in addition to air tight bubble tubes, I’m guessing for extra protection for the wax seal and top. It arrived in perfect condition and I know my boyfriend is going to love it!
Got this as a gift for my adoptive dad who loves bourbon, wasn’t too sure if he would like this but he ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT! Service from these guys are great as well, shipping was quite a bit later than what I had paid for though, but other than shipping timing, the company made sure it was well protected for the journey over!
Online liquor was easy and nice to deal with, their pice was a bit high but they had what I wanted for a gift. So what are you going to do? It was my choice I didn’t have to purchase it for 2,1/2 times what it retails for in my state but I’m happy with their promo service and shipping and the product just prices are a bit high. But welcome to the world we live in.
Packaged very nicely and my husband loves this gift. However, I'm disappointed in the engraving - we had to search to find it and some of the letters aren't engraved all the way so it was not worth the money I spent. The engraving is what made the gift unique so I would have appreciated better and more noticeable engraving.
My husband received a gift set for retirement and did not want to break up the set- so I bought him a single Blanton’s gold for Father’s Day so he could actually try it and not worry about breaking up the “Blanton’s set.” But it’s still on the shelf. ☹
Splurged on this bottle for my husband’s birthday and it came with a (VERY stubborn) sticker. Though I’m sure it shouldn’t affect the product ~inside~ the bottle, it totally ruins the aesthetic. Very disappointing.
