I had seen these online for ages now, as I am sure many have. I ended up getting mine on a JB Hi-Fi special. It works really well. I think it is important though that the big selling point is that this is portable. I've you are looking for a blender for the kitchen home, this product is probably not meant for you. This has allowed me to have smoothies at work a lot. I have already given mine quite the workout. However, I will note that manufacturing seems to be on the cheaper end. My serial number I did check, and it didn't flag for the recall with BlendJet.But, you will may stil pickup on the low quality manufacturing. I will particularly note the BlendJet logo on the front of the device. 100% expect the paint to rub off in less than a week. No joke. Mine rubbed off literally that quick. But hey, if that is the extent of the low quality manufacturing, for the price this is probably pretty good. So for the Karens out there, just a heads up to save you time, if you are going to kick up a stink over that, maybe don't purchase this product. 100% expect the logo on the front to rub off.Like I pointed out further up, I have blended ice in this no problem, as well as frozen fruits. The 15 blends per charge is pretty on the mark I feel, and yes it is easy to clean as noted by BlendJet by using a bit of soap, water and then blending.I would recommend to anyone who needs a portable blender, especially the office types.

I really wanted to like this and did for the first week. I had searched for something that could be taken to work and used for a midday smoothie. The advertising on this is excellent. However, realising it is all so misleading won't take long. I don't blend anything too complicated - simply 8 ounces of Naked Juice and 1 scoop of natural whey. That's it! The BlendJet2 cannot even handle that. I follow all the instructions and will frequently get a flashing red light and have to figure out why. Then when it does start blending, it does so incredibly poorly. I'm left with several clumps of unmixed whey protein either floating on the top or clinging to the sides of the container. This is just juice and whey. It's not thick. It's not a bunch of fruit and ... MoreI really wanted to like this and did for the first week. And then there are the intermittent leaks from the cap, despite checking every time that the rubber ring is properly set and the lid is screwed on tightly, I will invariably still end up with a leak. For comparison, my 8-year-old Ninja blender has no issues at all with juice and whey (or occasional fruit for that matter). I now resort to blending my smoothie in the Ninja, then transferring the properly blended mixture into the BlenJet2, so I can take that to work and simply pulse it once or twice before consuming.

I just received my BlendJet in Geode. Of course, I logged in to QVC to see if anyone else had as well. I was mortified when I saw the overall low rating of the product. However, as I read through the reviews it seems like most (if not all) are due to a prior issues with possibly and first generation BlendJet and not this current generation, but it isn’t clear in the product description and this is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. The blade breaking off in the blending process understandably terrified me.Nonetheless, I did turn it on (haven’t officially blended anything), but the functions work and the product seems substantial. I really hope this helps someone. I feel so stupid falling for Q’s effective and, selective presentations repeatedly. Let’s start with 16 oz minus 4 for expansion (air), so 12 oz.I’m not playing with my Protein drinks. They are for my health. My Protein drink doesn’t fit once blended, it’s not much more but it is more.I charged BJ over night, it showed blue (indicating full charge) it never worked. Thankfully defective!! I watched several presentations. I saw them put in 1/3 a banana, not slices. And not one time did they say, “ Please remember to slice and cube everything tiny for our adorable little blender!” Or “And remember to get our cute little blades to full speed turn our little BJ upside down and start!”.You think I’m kidding, oh no! When I had to dump all my stuff from my BJ to my Ninja, I read the booklet to see if I didn’t charge correctly. That’s what’s very upsetting, because IF THEY SAID the TRUTH they would still have sold a zillion. By omitting it with this, and so many other products, how can we trust anything they sell???If you have kids, this is for them. Avoid Freshman 15-20 lb. Or a High Schooler with before class practice, etc…. For any self respecting adult, no. Especially if you’re making genuine Protein drinks for your well being., weight loss or muscle mass. And seriously, the notion of using it for cocktails?Who has a pool that doesn’t have access to making FULL SIZE BATCH OF DRINKS thank you. And yes, my vacation home has a full size kitchen with a full size blender…the lies and puffing. How dare you treat us like we’re stupid, although I bought one, guess I was. It’s a shame we have to dissect everything, or just tune off!
I was all with the trend of the Blendjet 2 in 2023. I bought some from the Blendjet website for $49.99 each. At first they would chop the frozen frut perfect the slowly started not choping frozen fruit so well but I just took the fruit out to thaw a bit and it was fine. Then the recall came. I received an email in December 2023 from blendjet about the recall of older modles. So I checked and both of the ones I had at the time were on the list. I followed the instructions from the recall notice which required a photo of the base showing product numbers and the rubber seal cut into 3 sections. I did this and received and email that my replacement bases would be on the way when stock was in. Since then I have corrosponded with them so many times trying to get the replacement bases and rubber seals, and every time I get this story that they are a small business and trying to get the replacements out as soon as they can. OK, sure you are, they are selling these blendjet2s everywhere. My point is you have them to sell but don't have them to replace the broken ones people have and are waiting on the replacements. So, in May I emailed them and requested a refund for both of my blendjet2s since they are and have been unuasble since December;2023. I have yet to hear from them and I did receive and email on how would you rate our customer service. NOT GOOD of course. i JUST WANT MY REFUND FOR BOTH OF MY BLENDJET2S AT THE COST I PAID FOR THEM. I will update when updates are available.
Don't bother, I had to return four white Blendjet2 units purchased from JB Hi Fi due to a safety recall and it's been up to 9 months now and I am still waiting for my replacement units. Even though there are plenty of units for sale at JB Hi Fi, Blendjet does not offer me the option to pick up a replacement from the store. I purchased some of these units as Xmas 2023 gifts for family and friends, and I have had to ask for these to be returned due to the recall. We are now approaching Xmas 2024, this is embarrasing.I have complained to the ACCC and I will also be taking this to the QLD Office of Fair Trading. Also I dont recommend these units, the power isnt as good as advertised. It does get stuck and the worst part is that when the battery runs out, you just cant blend anymore. You need to wait for a few hours until the unit gets re-charged. The blendjet2 does not allow for the unit to be used while it's being charged which is a real pain. Also the USB charging wire they provide burns out because even though they say that the unit is waterproof, water does get into the small charging port. I have gone through 3 wires. The only USB wire which seems to work without an issue is an original android USB wire.
I am a senior citizen who is focused on health and nutrition. I recently discovered the cottage cheese flatbread that has gone viral. Since I live alone, I really don't need a full recipe, and besides, it's summer and who wants to heat up the kitchen? And who wants a full sized blender getting dirtied all the time for a half recipe, which I had been doing? Let me tell you, I have used this BlendJet daily from day one! I've adjusted the recipe for myself, using two eggs but just a half cup of the cottage and seasonings to taste. And I had a brainstorm this morning, instead of Saory, I added allulose, vanilla and cinnamon and it's baking even as I type. Smells wonderful!!! And using the BlendJet makes it so darned convenient!!! No bowl or blender to clean up. Small footprint in my very small kitchenette, and attractive enough to leave out on the counter. Oh, and incase you're interested, my flatbread is cooking up in the air Frier, not the oven, 350 degrees for 30 minutes. And blending up the batter took all of the 30 seconds and maybe a minute to put the ingredient into the BlendJet and another 30 seconds to clean it. I'm stoked!!!!!!!!!
I bought 2 of the Blendjet 2 after reading many reviews. I guess I am missing something because most of the time I had to do 2 cycles to get it blended. Then both of mine were in the recall. So now I have 2 Blendjets that I am waiting for replacement parts for. It has been several months and I finally got an email in April saying there was a delay and I would probably get my replacements by June. And the colors available for the replacement will not look good with the original. Now it will look like crap. I took out the extended warranty so I feel I should have gotten a complete unit instead of waiting for something that is going to make them look like they were pieced together. This is a nice smoothie maker for a smallish single serving smoothe. You have to be careful of the order you put the ingredients in..liquid first, then harder ingredients at the end..then once it's turned on, you have to kind of shake it to get it to blend most everything well. You may have to do it two cycles. Once blended, it's easy to either pour out or just stick in a straw and drink it from the existing cup. Here's where I had the "issue". They advertise and you hear from all the "influencers" and "testers" how easy it is to clean. Yes, it is easy to put in a squirt of dishwashing detergent and give it a whirl, then rinse with clean water. This is actually not a special BlendJet thing, people. You can do this on ANY blender. Yes, it is easy to put in a squirt of dishwashing detergent and give it a whirl, then rinse with clean water. This is actually not a special BlendJet thing, people. You can do this on ANY blender. The problem they are not talking about is that yes, you can do this and let it dry. However, if you ONLY do this, you WILL get mildew under the silicone gasket under the lid. Yuck! So really, you have to clean the regular part of it, then take it apart and clean the gaskets, then let it all dry before putting back together and using again. It's not that big of a deal, but the way it's advertised as so easy...not a thing. Just be aware.
I bought this blender because of the glowing reviews, even though I was skeptical that a battery powered blender would be worth anything. It turns out I should have remained skeptical. The first thing I blended was a smoothie which came out nice, but a little bit chunky. Even though I blended it for 2 cycles (each cycle is 20 seconds) maybe I should have gone longer. The blended did manage to turn ice cubes into smaller chunks, but only if there was plenty of liquid already in the container. For example, I tried blending ice by itself to get crushed ice, and the ice cubes mostly just bounced on top of the blades and nothing happened. On other tries, ice cubes would get stuck and jam the blades, requiring me to dump everything out of the container to free the blade ... MoreI bought this blender because of the glowing reviews, even though I was skeptical that a battery powered blender would be worth anything. For example, I tried blending ice by itself to get crushed ice, and the ice cubes mostly just bounced on top of the blades and nothing happened. On other tries, ice cubes would get stuck and jam the blades, requiring me to dump everything out of the container to free the blade and try again. The third thing I tried to blend was some fruit chunks for juice. To my dismay, the blades repeatedly got jammed on chunks of honedew melon! Who would have thought a fruit that soft would have been a problem? After that, I tried a recipe I have been wanting to try for a while: hummus. A dip like this is a little thicker than something like a smoothie, and apparently that was too much for this little blender. Even on a full charge, the blades couldn’t keep up moving through the thicker though still liquid mixture. In summary, I am surprised at many of the other reviews. This thing just barely gets through ice; it doesn’t do a particularly good job with it. I can see it being OK for drinks, but only if they are very liquidy. Don’t put in too much fruit, and cut the fruit into small pieces to give the blender the best chance. And it’s definitely more frustrating than helpful for anything thicker than a drink, like hummus or other dips. Also, while it’s nice not to have a cord, I don’t think I’d ever take this blender far from my kitchen where my blendable ingredients are; and there’s a tradeoff for not having a cord in the low low power capability of this blender. Additionally, with no cord to unplug, it makes me a little nervous that the thing is always one button press away from turning on, even when I’m cleaning it (There are safety switches, but it still makes me nervous).
