Was sent this to review. My cat is a little fussy and it usually takes her some time to like a new food, but I was very surprised to see her eat it without hesitation. And she enjoyed it! I like the grain and cereal free ingredients and was amazed at the lack of heavy cat food smell. Will have to buy her some more now that Ive found something she likes. This gets a definite paws up from us!

Our fussy cats love this and it smells good when you open it! This is a very solid cat food, so we mash it up with a fork. One packet feeds both of our cats for 1 meal. It is now one of the regular cat foods we buy, so please keep stocking it Waitrose!We have 2 very fussy cats, so do have to rotate the cat foods we give them, so we are always looking for good quality, sugar-free cat foods to add to our shopping list! Also one of our cats has a sensitive stomach and this suits him as we can't buy anything with too much gravy.

Took advantage of the free product (thank you), assumed it would be one meal but happy to report that a pouch is more than enough for 2 meals when swished around with a fork. Can't personally vouch for the taste but Anton cleared the bowl and he's incredibly fussy about his food. I will probably continue to buy a couple of packs a week as a change for him.

I opened the packet and noticed that the meat's encased in what looks like natural jelly, rather like aspic jelly. Previously my guys have turned their nose up at this type of jelly, so I wasn't totally surprised when they each took turns to sniff the new food tentatively, with little indication of wanting to devour it. Eventually, after several hours of it being in their bowls, and after all other food had been consumed, four of the cats tried a little, and of those four, two of them ate more than a mouthful. My cats aren't particularly fussy, and one absolutely adores chicken, but even she couldn't bring herself to finish it. Even though it wasn't a totally successful trial, I have still given it stars, as it is 'proper' food, which I think some cats will love and others will grow to like, as I know it can take several attempts to get cats to like something new.
Our fussy cat only really likes poached fish, chicken and turkey. Will eat Sheba and other brands in a rotation for lunch. He did try it, and ate about a quarter of the packet, then wouldnt touch the rest. He will go back to fish and meat to eat it all up, but not this. I thought it looked and smelled nice, but the tear off top would not tear cleanly and splatted cat food everywhere. So nil point from me! (Given this to review)
We received a free sample in our Waitrose order -- many thanks. Our cat loves Blink chicken ... and she is fussy. We let it sit in the fridge over two or three days, serving it up as a snack for her. For our cat, one pouch provides over two main servings. The ingredients appear to be wholesome and the product is sourced in Britain, which is a likely plus for the environment and local farmers. It's a bit costly, and I'm not too happy about the plastic packaging. As our cat seems to like it a lot, we will probably buy a pouch a week or so in future as a treat and a bit of variety for her.
I tried this on my Bengal as it was a freebie. First of all, from a human point of view, it smells much better than most cat foods. The appearance is not very appealing, as it's very pale, but this is probably due to lack of artificial colours, so I shouldn't criticise. It's a very soft consistency, so perhaps it would be suitable for cats with dental issues. However, my opinion isn't really what matters! The spotted prince, who is not unduly fussy, sniffed at it and looked quite offended. I heated it to the temperature of a fresh mouse, as I always do, and he still pronounced it a failure on my part. Who knows how a cat will react?
We gave this new British made product a trial: Tinders ate it all without hesitation, but then he eats anything not locked away. Blink suggest two 85gm packs a day - too much! The quality is as good as Encore which comes in 70gm tins so we will stick with Encore. Another consideration is the difficulty recycling plastic pouches in comparison with tins.
Both my cats love this. The meat looks high quality and smells like normal chicken unlike a lot of cat foods. Grain free, sugar free, high percentage of meat, whats not to like? My cats have very sensitive tummies and are prone to diarrhoea but this seems gentle on their tummies and has not caused any problems. Only downside is the cost - I will be stocking up during the sale.
i received a coupon to try this cat food. i have 5 fussy cats so was very interested in trying. Firstly it had quite a grey colour when it came out of the packet, but it did look like chicken and it smelled like roast chicken. 3 of them were not interested at all, they just sniffed it and walked away. 2 were interested, but they didnt gobble it down and in fact they left some. i left it down overnight and it was gone the next morning, but i don't think it was a roaring success. And at that price point. i would prefer to give them other brands of chicken meat that they will eat or just give them fresh chicken. So on balance, i wouldnt buy it.
