I've been using this for years and it really helps with dry lips. Since using it I get cold sores much less often and much less severe.
I had terribly wind and sun burned lips, my bottom lid cracked and split and then ended up with a hideous painful cold sore right in the middle of my lip. The rest of my lips were constantly burning. I tried everything I already had here, Paw paw, Vaseline, Carmex nothing was easing it. After a week and a half of this yuckiness I found this in Chemist Warehouse, while buying more Panadol cause the pain has been that bad, and I got it on my lips as soon as I got into the car and wow ! the relief was instant. I’ve been using it for 2 days now, 4 times a day and my lips are almost completely healed.
I was suffering from extremely dry and peeling lips and nothing was working for me. I tried this and had results from the first use. I now use this at night and no longer have dry, sore lips.
This is a lip ointment and does not have the traditional formulation for lip balms. It's literally white but it still keeps the lips well moisturised and protected from the sun as it has spf on it. Must try, especially for those prone to sun induced cold sores. Worked for me.
